Plastic surgery has a negative connotation towards it. It is not all boob jobs and tummy tucks, there are some crucial positives to plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is a positive thing because it can benefit the patient with minimal scarring, improve self-esteem and confidence in one's body, and even help with pains or health problems in a specific area.
When a person receives a deep wound or has had a body part amputated, a plastic surgeon will come by and sew it up. They are skilled at sutures because it is one of the very first things they learned, one of the very basics of their profession. Of course there is always the possibility of an accident happening, “there is of course knives involved and accidents do happen, but also because it involves anaesthetic and this can cause different reactions depending on the patient.” (Hadhok pg. 2).
