Bounteous Reasons Why I Want To Become A Nurse

It is not a crime to dream. Every individual sets high exceptions for what career they want. Some dream of becoming the President of the United States of America, a scientist, or even a therapist. I want a career where I can make an impact on the world. My whole life revolves around wanting to work in the medical field. My dream is becoming a nurse practitioner. I want to help care for people, their families, and to work in the field where everyday is different. I want to hold the family members hands and tell them that everything is alright. I not only want to make a difference in the lives of my patients, i also hope to make a difference in the nursing and medical field in general. to achieve the dream of becoming a nurse practitioner, I must drop the habits that hold me back and slow me down right now. Bad habits not only slow my progress my habits but also keep me from moving forward. Giving up too soon, my lack of focus, and my perfectionism hold me back in everyday life.

People have always said that I am good with kids. I especially love babies, babies have been something that I have always loved, cared for, and want eventually. I want to keep taking care of them and helping them be healthy. I love science and I do pretty well in it. I have taken mostly honor science classes. I am really good with people and I have seen what it's taken to be nurse and how much work is put into becoming one. My cousin is actually graduating from nursing school this year in May and she inspired me that it was a great career choice to pursue.

I am interested in pursuing the adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner program. One experience that contributed to my interest is during nursing school I held a part time student nurse position at DuPage department of public health. I got to see how the nurse practitioner worked in a STD clinic setting. I admired how the NP was able to assess, identify and treat this population efficiently. She promoted health and gave teaching among patient's who were very vulnerable, ashamed and frightened about their diagnosis. It was something I wanted to be a part of. Another experience is my most recent one. Currently, I work in a cancer center in an outpatient setting. Working as a nurse coordinator, I work hand in hand with the doctors and

Ever since I was a child I have always loved taking care of infants. I have an extremely large family so there was always babies to tend to. My grandmother babysat all of my cousins and my, since I was one of the oldest grandchildren I became another set of hands to help with all the children. I changed my first diaper when I was 6 years old, and I still remember my grandmother watching over me as I secured the wings of the diaper down. I have always known I wanted to have a career in the medical field, but it wasn't until a few years ago when it finally clicked and I realized the neonatal intensive care unit was the place I wanted to be.

The college degree I am pursuing through Excelsior College is the Associate in Applied Science for Nursing. I plan on going on after this for my Bachelor’s degree in nursing, and when I complete this then I will decide if I plan on going any further in my education. Having 7 children, who are all still at home, gives me everyday challenges in just time management alone. I am learning to adjust my schedule even with sleep to accommodate in achieving my goal. I do know any challenge that I may face I will overcome and that I can achieve anything I set out to do. As I went through LPN school I was a single mom, working full time, with 4 children at home, and was able to succeed successfully in that. I plan on doing this again with my degree for a registered nurse.

My college experience has not always been an easy journey for me. I was accepted into the nursing program at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2012. I went through my first year with no hesitation or difficulties. Not knowing what was ahead of me, things became challenging. Unfortunately, I had to switch my major to public health. This was tough for me to go through because not only was I no longer in the major I love, but my anticipated graduation date was pushed back; it felt like I was starting all over again. Today, I am a public health major and it is very different than being a nursing major. With public health, it focuses more on health promotion while nursing focuses on the actual health of an individual and is more hands on.

Nursing is an excellent career path to choose in today's society and a great chance to contribute to bettering the world of medicine. Nursing offers a broad variety of job opportunities and allows employers to live comfortably while receiving additional benefits. Once you begin a career in nursing you have a sturdy job for life.

The reason I want to be an RN is because I love helping, caring and teaching other people about health. Starting as a little girl I’ve always enjoyed learning new things about the body. Helping someone that is sick to get better is the best part out of all of it. I thought about becoming a doctor, but to me they don’t get enough of hands on with the patient, being an RN was the next best thing. Five

Several reasons come to mind when asked why I am interested in nursing. The overall complexity of the nursing field is my biggest interest. There are so many subfields of nursing, techniques, and opportunities available. With the medical field advancing each day; the learning opportunities are basically unlimited. I am interested in the fact that I can specialize in one area but, I am also able to look into other specialties of nursing if it catches my interest. Being able to enter a career with unless opportunities is critical.

My mom had a school fund for me that had a couple thousand in it for me in order to go to college because she knew she wouldn’t be able to afford it. My step dad who was British was going through immigration and they ran out of money to pay for their lawyer so they took my college fund and used it. My mom told me that a month before I started high school and I knew right then and there that I would have to work once I turned 16 and keep really high grades so that I could afford to go to college and one day become a nurse. Four months after I turned 16, I got a job at McDonald’s because it was close to the house and a very good first job in order to gain experience. I worked there until right after I graduated high school two years later. While

General Framework Diabetes has been a part of my life since the age of five years old. I learned from a very small age about the disease that I have. I have learned how to lance my finger for blood sugar levels, fill syringes, load cartridges for an insulin pump, and give daily injections to myself. Every year there are advancements aids that make living with diabetes easier. I have gone to doctors and specialist all of my life.

Hello, my is Inez Edmondson I live in West Chester Ohio. I have been a nurse for many years. I am now a Visiting Assistant Professor Department of Nursing at one of the locate University. I chose to return to school once I accepted the position as a VAP. I want to be all I could be as an instructor, I feel that this program will give leverage and accreditation as an instructor. I have very little research experience in my graduate program. I hope to gain a better understanding of health care policies, and how do you make things happy.

In fact, there are several reasons why I chose nursing as my profession. First and foremost is that I want to focus on changing people’s lives (Nurse Journal, 2016). As a nurse, I would study the life's value when I would be seeing individuals struggling to remain alive. Since I am fully aware that each life's breadth is a gift, I would, therefore, understand this lesson further as I would be nursing various patients daily. I greatly respect human life, I possess strong values and I am compassionate for empathy and suffering, factors that have further attracted me to the nursing profession. Second, nursing profession allows continuous learning. As I like learning, I would possess unlimited opportunities for advancing my medical knowledge. As such, I would capable of choosing to work in various departments, train to become a medical assistant and as well enter the nursing management where I would grow and mentor new nurses through sharing my knowledge

There are many great professions waiting in store for each and every one of us. The best job there is now in time is nursing. Why nursing you might ask yourself, Well there are many reasons for becoming a nurse such as the endless opportunities in your career field. Another reason would be flexible hours and experience that not only benefit you but also your family. WIth the shortage of nursing now in time it is a best time to get to it. The most important reason why to becoming a nurse is the best career would be because of the great satisfaction you get at the end of the day

Finally, another reason I chose to do nursing is that I heard about and eventually seen for myself that it is such a rewarding career. To be able to help people, make a difference in their lives and bring them hope and happiness is such a good feeling. This was something I wanted to feel. I wanted to have a rewarding career.
