WOOSTER — Brady Long did what the Golden State Warriors could not — bag back-to-back titles and join the conversation of best ever. Long bagged his second title as Ohio’s best bagger of groceries Tuesday in the Buehler’s Milltown parking lot in the Ohio Grocers Association-sponsored event. Grocery baggers from across the state visited Wooster for the competition. Bette Kiggins, who works at a Giant Eagle store near Cleveland, was the runner-up. Long, who works in the Medina Meadows Forest store, said he was just as excited as he was a year ago when he won his first competition. “It was fun, but I was nervous,” Long said. As a result of being the best in Ohio, Long represented the state in Las Vegas at the National Grocers Association competition. He will be heading there again in February. …show more content…
“We love to host it,” said Dan Shanahan, president of chief operating officer of Buehler’s Fresh Foods. He is looking forward to having Buehler’s, the OGA and the state represented at the finals in Las Vegas for a second straight year. “We love to support the Ohio Grocers Association. We are glad to help.” Jim Fox, who served as store manager at Buehler’s Towne Market and in Wadsworth, really liked the idea of the competition and has become an advocate for it. “It’s a good competition to recognize baggers,” said Fox, who now manages the Portage Lakes store. “They don’t get enough recognition. This is to show how good they really are.” Baggers are often the first and last people customers see when they visit grocery stores, Mullins said. “They play an important role,” she added. “I’m excited to have everyone different parts of Ohio here,” said Milltown store manager Jack

The answer of this question is mainly someone's opinion. Depending on who their favorite team is and which team they like better varries on who they think is better. Joe Montana only played for 16 years in the NFL, Tom Brady is going onto his 17 years.
This simple chant summarizes the importance of finding a store that is a convenient location from your home. No one, including myself, wishes to go miles out of their way on a simple grocery run. Again, in this respect, Wal-Mart has clearly won. There is a Wal-Mart in practically every town. Unlike Kroger’s, which is only in bigger towns. In addition to the physical stores both stores offer online shopping for all groceries except those that need to be refrigerated. Considering these things, I prefer Wal-Mart over Kroger’s in terms of location.

Considering that it is well known that most teams cheat in one way or another, but just don’t get caught, it is easy to look past the troubles he’s been though. At the same time though, the fact that he did get caught makes it worst. In my opinion, there is no discussion when it comes to best ever. Going into his fifth, and possibly NOT final Super Bowl, Brady was considered to be the best, yet still had major competition with Joe Montana. Montana, who won four championships, never lost one, unlike Brady. The thing that puts Brady over the top for me, cementing him as greatest of all time, is the fact that he was able to come back from an unprecedented 25 point deficit in the game’s biggest stage. When it comes to sports there are never finite answers to these type of questions, but with Brady playing at the level he is going into his 40’s there is no telling what he can still do in his career. In three years, most likely when the greatest of all time is set to retire, he may have one or two more rings to add to the collection, possibly ending the conversation once and for
Doug flutie, a professional quarterback, always criticized for being too short, and a Heisman trophy winner. This hardly describes doug and who he is because he is so much more. Only one offer from a division one college because of his height, but he did the most he could with it and became a legend for the game of football. Weather it was his no huddle offence in canada or his famous hail mary in college, or being a great father he will always be remembered. He will always be most remembered for being the first successful quarterback that was short.
If I were anybody in the world I would be Tom Brady and here are some reasons why. He has succeeded so much during his career. He is claimed to be one of the greatest of all time. He is very very rich. Here are some reasons why I would be Tom Brady.
In the city of Longtown,Ohio,Founded by James Clemens,is a peaceful place where blacks and white did not discriminate each other, or at least it use to be. Now,the people of Longtown are fading from the world and White settlers are buying their land.Longtown was made by James Clemens,a freed slave from the state of Virginia, made this settlement so whites and blacks can live in harmony and peace together, but now that everyone is dying and settlers are buying their land, James’ great grandson,Connor Keiser, is trying to keep the way of life going or in other words Connor Keiser said,” We were the usual Longtown family. We all look different, and we were taught that color didn’t matter. As long as I have anything to do with it,Longtown
In days long when many non-whites were racially segregated , and/or discriminated, making a colored community was unthinkable. That was until one man named James Clemens, a freed slave, broke that barrier, and established Longtown Ohio. The uniqueness of the community, though, was that it was a sanctuary for many different races that were unfit for other communities. This was a place where many different races could interact with each other peacefully. If Riverside, or even our country as a whole had this type of ideology, then there is a likelihood that we would all live in harmony, and safety. It's time we take some ideas from Longtown, and apply them to our country/Riverside. An article published by The Washington Post, “ Ohio Town holds rare history: Races

In 1883 Bernard (Barney) Kroger invested 372 dollars that consisted of his life savings to open the first ‘Kroger’ grocery. That first store, located at 66 Pearl Street in downtown Cincinnati, would soon turn into the giant retail chain that consists of nearly 2,500 stores all over the country and most recently produced sales of over 76 billion dollars. Barney Kroger was revolutionary in the formation of the modern grocery, in that he was the first grocer to have his own bakery, as well as selling meat and other groceries all under one roof. Kroger was also the first to manufacture the products that he in turn sold in his own store. This was the beginning of what is today one of the largest food manufacturing companies in America.
Benny Kroger tried in many ways to satisfy customers by offering all that he could in one stop. He experimented with making his own products, such as bread, so that customers would not need to go to a separate bakery. Kroger was the first to use barcode scanners and even became the first grocery chain to offer samples and taste tests to their customers, and also the first to have a store surrounded on all four sides by parking lots. Benny Kroger was an innovator and a visionary in the customer satisfaction world.

Summer of 1989 was blazing hot and maybe hotter than ‘88. Paulie and his brothers, most likely Italian, came to the hood and opened a supermarket on Broad and Wingohocking streets. They looked out for us in the hood by giving us cashier, stock, or office jobs. Baggers were also hired ranging from the ages of 9-16. Sometimes as a bagger, you’d make 25-40 dollars a day in quarters and
