Proposed Initiative I would like to propose a “Digital Partner” consisting of: 1. Budget Advisor: to analyze customer financial patterns and provide tailored budget advice, including forecasts, raising financial awareness and avoiding loan defaulting. Feedback will be presented as narratives using a solution similar to Quill to transform data insights into human readable information and recommendations 2. Personal Online/Mobile Navigator: Personalized chatbot to help users navigate applications more effectively using a messaging or voice interface. Features include saving most common actions and activities and providing, through NLG, real-time assistance, language/dialect settings and ability to interact by voice or text. These chatbots …show more content…
Notwithstanding, it will also contribute to cost reductions associated with customer support and loan adjudication; thus, the required investment can be partially offset by cost reductions in these activities. AI Technology Selection and Technical Requirements The AI technologies that should be integrated are as follows: 1. Machine learning: to analyze vast amounts of data and provide insights 2. Natural language processing and generation: both for customer interaction (chatbots) and to translate insight into human readable recommendations 3. Chatbots solutions: to help users to navigate website and mobile apps more effectively Some technical considerations are: 1. Platform: whether to implement the solution using open source platforms or partner with AI vendors including evaluation of requirements such as customization, speed and in house knowledge as well as the integration of the required parallel processing into existing infrastructure. Other considerations include platform scalability and performance. 2. Subject Matter Experts: SMEs are key to evaluate algorithms and ensure recommendations are fact-based and not subject to biases. Additionally, process experts need to identify exposed business processes and what are the key parameters to enhance customer experience. In both cases, they should participate in POCs to assess vendors and products 3. Technology Experts: to effectively manage and maintain AI solutions. They
A current issue with home health care and senior citizens is the need for medicine and food. In the current state of the economy with the rise and gas prices and the need of people to still commute, people have to figure out ways to get to and from pharmacies and grocery stores. In the economy two markets that will not fail in recession are discount retail food and medicine because people need both to survive (Viswanathan, 2009). According to AAA (2012), the national average for gas is currently $3.39 per gallon. The cost of gas coupled with the cost of prescriptions and groceries create a huge issue in elderly, disabled, and unfortunate
In the case of Providian Trust, the organization attempts to outsource the implementation of a major software system aimed at updating its internal business processes and outdated information system to be more cost efficient and provide more timely services to its customers. However, there are certain activities and processes that are needed to ensure that the procurement process is effective and the appropriate goods and/or services are acquired. For example, a needs analysis or feasibility study will need to be conducted prior to sending out the request for proposal (RFP). Specifically, for IT projects, such as the software development for Providian, this will pay off despite the chosen vendor as well as help avoid falling in love with a pretty interface and not what’s under the hood. In addition, the focus will be on solving business problems and seeing and understanding vendor capabilities and tool demos in relation to the project goals and objectives for the future. Additionally, there are some key criteria that should be followed to help ensure the success of a vendor selection and the procurement planning
Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank founded Home Depot Corp in 1978 (The Home Depot, 2013). The business created strategic product analysis providing an assortment of items to consumers. From the beginning, workers have been able to deliver superior customer satisfaction in the business, helping consumers with jobs such as handling power tools, changing out parts on appliances, laying tile, etc. The Home Depot employees all underwent arduous training to familiarize each employee with products. In addition, the business began hosting workshops to teach consumers on how to do things themselves.
In order to meet the challenges facing our department of providing quality patrol services we must strive to find ways to be creative in improving service delivery. To that end, I propose we utilize available technology to leverage the skills of our patrol officers by enhancing their ability in the field. As an agency, we have done well in the area of remaining ahead of most trends but with the ever-changing face of technology, it is difficult for law enforcement to keep up with those changes. This proposal will introduce a cost-effective way for patrol officers to utilize mobile crime mapping data via their department issued Apple iPhones that will potentially enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. The specific company / software
In order to determine how many titles the organization should transform (products to offer), it could compare total revenue and total cost; or, compare the marginal revenue and marginal cost. (McConnell, Brue, & & Flynn, 2009, p. 180) Focusing on the first method of total revenue and total cost. Using the numbers mentioned above, the organization’s total revenue for the older titles if they were to lower the prices to $8, TR= $8,000. Couple this with the idea that the transformation of the older titles should be minimal to nothing because of the fact that it will be done internally. It would be important to estimate the cost of creating the files at $3 a book since the organization is currently using very low cost venue and the organization is consuming the utilities that match that. For the same 1,000 books we used to figure total revenue, TC=$3,000. The organization will be establishing a total profit of $5,000.
As Vice President at Clear Hear, I would like to address some issues that have come to light with our manufacturing of cell phones here at Clear Hear. I have taken economic conditions into consideration and will offer my recommendation that will increase revenues for our company while hopefully adding a new client to our distribution list.
As a long-time Nutritional Coordinator of the Morgiana high school, I would like to propose to the Director of food services of our school that a formal analytical report be prepared in order to serve healthier school lunches in our school cafeteria. Over the past several years, I have observed that our school lunch program serves lunches that, for the most part, consist of fatty and sugary foods that supply little more than empty calories to our students. We need to change our school menu so that our students can learn and perform better, both academically and athletically.
As the economy changes, so is the need to make changes within the organization. A business proposal would allow for an in depth review of financial structure. A closer look at current business functions will make you aware of what you have and how to use those items to make sure you are moving forward to success. Taking small steps of looking in detail of what changes can be made can make the difference in making money and losing it for a company. Here at Thomas Money Services, Inc., there is a need to make money. That is the goal; to grow in this ever changing business world. This proposal was designed to give a review of what is happening currently with Thomas Money Services, Inc. and to be able to show how it can expand. Forestry equipment is not the primary focus of the business but may be one of the saving graces for more revenue. The changes can be done with ease with a solid business plan.
The following section will show the ratios and percentages figured by using these two companies’ financial statements. A comparison will be used to compare the companies to one another. People will always needs cars to get around whether it’s for education, work or tourism. By comparing these companies we will know which company maybe the best to invest and to determine which companies will survive in the future. Take a look at Table 1 below as it provides a full listing of
Affiggle will sell promotional products containing its client’s names, humor pertaining to its client’s business’, and digital links to online destinations of its client’s choice. Below are examples of the proposed new product
During their monthly meetings the Capital Expenditure Committee would generally review 10 to 15 capital project requests (CPRs). At the November meeting the committee would be reviewing 10 projects. Of these ten projects Doug Scovanner realized that five would be easily accepted, but the remaining five would be difficult choices for the committee. The five projects were Gopher Place, Whalen Court, The Barn, Goldie’s Square, and Stadium Remodel. These projects included four new store openings and one remodeling of an existing store into a SuperTarget format (Bruner, Eades and Schill). Each of these CPRs will be further analyzed based on the following criteria: NPV, IRR, size of the project, cannibalization of other stores sales, store sensitivities, variance of prototype, customer demographics, and brand awareness impact.
There are (3) reasons why I have chosen energy drinks as my NAB. First off, there is a growing market for energy drinks. Red Bull and Monster Beverage Corporation, together, form over 80% of domestic energy drinks volumes by estimates. Dollar sales for energy drinks grew almost 6% to $6.67 Billion in measured channels in 2013, which propelled sales growth for convenience stores (Team, 2014). A growing thirst for caffeinated “energy” drinks, which include the likes of Red Bull, Monster, and Rock star, has spurred a heart-thumping surge in sales. Globally, the energy drink industry has gone from a $3.8-billion business in 1999, to a $27.5-billion
The development of start-ups is an important business activity that requires effort, time, and financial resources. It is important to correctly establish the resources that are required by opening a business in order to be able to successfully reach the objectives established for businesses in each situation. In this case, the business plan refers to developing a restaurant that focuses on providing meals that are based on organic foods.
stage in the life of the business. So it is very important to work out
The factors listed though impressive and quite thorough, lacks in three crucial factors we believe would make a deep influence in choosing a provider. They are future scalability and expandability, flexibility to adapt to probable changes during development and maturity of technology being used. Elaborating on why the above stated factors are important to be considered during the selection process, we believe
