Bazaar Ceramics has been operating for 20 years and have grown to a point where they need to reach a wider audience in both a sales aspect and an advertising one.

If you start your own business there are many benefits but if you do not know what you are doing, you will fail. You must have a motif, a passion and be willing to sacrifice in order to do what you have to do. Having a business has many benefits like having the ability to fluctuate your hours, building relationships, sharing your knowledge or products. But managing a business is not easy it takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and consistency. A business could make millions one year then be bankrupt the next because the economy is not always the same. You must be able to manage your money well because you must have capital to buy inventory whenever needed, while maintaining a budget to support your family, and to put money away for retirement. Because you could have one really good month but then next month could have no consumers. So your business must be your

Many small business owners start off by structuring the business by trial and error, or in a haphazard manner. You could start the business with just you and an assistant until you learn more about the roles employees must fill within the organization.

Ever since I was a little boy, I always wanted to be the person in charge. I put this to the test at a young age by being the captain of my travel baseball team. As the catcher of the team I was in charge of where everyone in the field is positioned. Catchers can see everything and everyone, so they have to communicate with their teammates about where they need to go. This role came naturally to me because I always want to be in control of what is going on. Taking this role lead my team to very well against competition that should have blown us out of the water. After that year I knew that I wanted to put into a position of authority later in life.

When it comes to business, especially when it comes to starting one, I tend to think I know it all. Yet in reality, I don't really even know how to get started, enough to make a business efficient, or even get the doors open enough to make the first

I could not agree more with what you said. Like you, I have been taking introductory business courses in the many various fields of the world of business, so I have not been able to truly immerse myself in the field that I am interested in. Aside for allowing me to improve my professional skill set, this opportunity will help me find out if the field I believe I want to spend my career in (Finance) is actually right for me.

I have chosen to do my research in small business. I want to know what it takes to build a successful business. What are the skills needed to start a new business? What are some of the steps to building a business model and plan? I am working on getting my degree in business. I am a general manager and will be soon help the company expand in opening two new stores in the next few months. This is something that is exciting to be able to expand the brand. This experience will help me when I am ready to own my own business. I know a small business is a big responsibility. As an owner, one has to dedicate lots of time and money to grow the brand and create customer loyalty. I know that simply being in love with an idea or product produced is not enough to survive in the business world. What are the key elements of a successful business?
