Susan,
I just wanted to thank you again for inviting me to meet today to discuss CNS recruitment and my role. You asked if there was anything else I wanted to share and I do so thank you in advance for reading my email.
I wanted to make clear that the challenge and the reward in my position is in bringing recruitment, admissions, communications, and first year programs together to the benefit of shaping our class which includes their experience with us from outreach or prospect up until (in many cases) when they attend Gone to Texas. As we discussed, I am responsible for everything from making sure regular information sessions happen as they should to involving faculty in our recruiting efforts and ensuring the Assistant Director of FRI

That would be in addition to the admissions piece as it relates to the numbers, decisions, appeals, etc for freshmen and transfer. As I mentioned, that decision piece has become one of the most rewarding as it hits closer to issues of policy which is my educational interest in pursuing my doctorate, but also, a natural progression of advancement in my career. However, as liaison, their would need to be an additional person who remains in the college. In many cases, this additional person or support already exists in other colleges and schools (McCombs, COFA, etc) be it a program coordinator, assistant director, or other professional staff (not just students) who focus on this work. CNS has chosen not to invest in additional support in this area and I was instructed to scale back when discussing the feasibility of implementing my desired initiatives with my previous supervisor. The interest and outcomes of the new and expanded efforts I shared with you are well received and the demand is there. In Houston, I saw myself as an innovator – developing the first regional information sessions for freshmen in 2008 and the first transfer sessions for the entire admissions office in 2009 to hosting the first Meet UT with an organized regional program featuring all of the colleges and schools in 2010. I believed I was brought to CNS to do the same, however, without additional resources, it is increasingly difficult to maintain and impossible to grow our plan – this includes the current plan that I've drafted for the 2015-16
I would love the opportunity to apply my leadership skills to the Outreach and Admissions Representative position. As a Student Assistant at the Merced campus, I have adopted FPU’s mission statement and become familiar with the admissions process. As an organizational leadership major, I am eager to support my team with the various concepts and methods I am learning in the classroom. I am a servant leader by nature; therefore, I am committed to the success of my team including students of various socioeconomic backgrounds.
It was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone this evening. Thank you for taking time away from your family and personal life to do so. I loved hearing about the position you have open in your practice. I am excited to hear more about it as it seems like a great fit for me.
It was a pleasure meeting you during my visit to the campus for the position of Assistant/Associate Provost. I want to thank you for taking time to share information regarding the Admissions process for the University. The information you shared was very informative. Again, thank you.
I interviewed Rosemarie LeFebvre, who holds the position of the Associate Dean for the Student Success and Retention. Some of the interview questions she responded were; the department purpose, the department objectives and goals, placement in the student services division, activities of the division, student learning outcomes, and description of the students served, and how they assess the department. According to Rosemarie, the college has witnessed a shift in
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to thank you once more for your letter of recommendation and let you know that my acceptance to Cooper Med School was finalized last month. I will begin CMSRU in July. Now is my turn to thank everyone who helped me in the process as I am certain that I would have never done that all alone.
I wanted to reach out to let you know that I am here for you and the team if you need me to assist with compliance concerns or questions. I know I have been out of commission for a few weeks on an unscheduled leave of absence, but I am back now and ready to plunge back into NERC related subject matter! I look forward to hearing from you if the need arises!
To begin this email I would like to discuss updates since my application. I have become eligible and applied for my school's National Honors Society. I have received A's in every course I have taken last year and this year. My courses this year include three AP classes and and two honors classes. While many students lose their drive during their senior year, I have continued to work my hardest and challenge myself with rigorous cources.
It was a pleasure meeting you and other members of the internship selection committee. I appreciated the time and effort that was spent in order to become more familiar with my application.
Approaching my sixth year of service to this organization, I have gained such knowledge and skills necessary to successfully fulfill this position; such as event planning, organization, and time management. As an Agricultural Institute student at NC State, I will be living only two miles away from the NCFFA Office with dependable transportation and I am very willing to travel to complete my duties as an intern. I also have a very flexible schedule for the fall semester. Also, I believe I do have the necessary technology knowledge and skills to successfully complete my duties. Throughout my experiences as an officer and as a college student, I can say that I am "techno savvy". Despite of my bubbly personality, I also display a great deal of professional in and outside the workplace. I have pride in my character and I believe true character is who you are when you believe no one is watching. My strongest skill is most definitely interpersonal communication. I have a genuine love for getting to know other. Building relationships with others is a huge part of my purpose in life and one of the main reasons why I love the FFA.
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to your concerns regarding the recent CCO Supervisor (16-608CP) promotional process.
Though I remained closely connected to the Office of Admissions during my time in CNS, I observed, as in outsider, significant staffing changes, compromised staff morale, and increased skepticism the institution held for admissions and recruitment staff. In addition, recruitment efforts were often berated publicly as the cause for matriculation declines by ethnicity, major, or caliber. More than 15 admissions officers, the majority from the recruitment division, resigned due to dissatisfaction and/or lack of confidence in changes in leadership and direction of the institution – many of these positions were not replaced. Due to changes in leadership in both admissions and CNS, my position is returning to the Office of Admissions in June 2016. Given the state of the organization, I sought to address the following questions:
More importantly, I truly believe my willingness to learn will make me a valuable asset to a company such as yours. I will not mind filling in as an Intake Coordinator when needed or being crossed trained as I enjoy floating and learning the different positions within my company. I am eager to form partnerships with practitioners, the national committee, and office staff. I look forward to the exposure, skills, and knowledge that such a position holds. Admittedly, change, increased responsibilities and assigned projects present an opportunity for me to be challenged, but those things also provide an opportunity for me to discover a new world of doing and being, which I’m always aiming to master. I am a lifelong student so I feel that there is so much for me to learn, to share, and to experience in this role. I honestly believe this will be a mutual
In response to your Instructional Dean of Students position, please consider my cover letter and resume as my interest in this position. I still believe that throughout inspiration and education we can make a difference in this ever changing, globalized world. Each child can meet expectations and become high-achievers that progressively meet learning growth. Therefore, we must create and nurture a safe, all inclusive, learning environment in which teachers can teach and students can learn. The vision must be the best education for all in which all stakeholders are active in the learning community and where everyone is accountable and reliable for the student's learning as a priority.
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to interview with you this morning. I am excited about being part of the Childcare Network team and am looking forward to starting on this new adventure with you and the rest of the Childcare Network family.
On another note I am at your service for any help with two years thoughts/strategies for the Coordinating Board regarding two year institutions if this helpful to you.
