Abstract
I am writing this paper about Carly Fironia to show that Carly Fironia is the best one to
run for president. She is the one to run for president because she is a good outstanding woman.
She has some of the highest qualities to become the President of the Unites States of America.
Carly Fiorina: The Run for the White House
Carly Fironia was born in Austin, Texas on September 6, 1954. After dropping out of law
school, she became an At&t management trainee. She moved up the company ladder and became
the first female officer in the Network systems division. In college, she studied medieval history
and philosophy, and after

In 1985, she married AT&T executive Frank Fiorina who put his own career on the slow
track in order to support hers. Carly found success meeting the rising demand for network
technology from American businesses. Fiorina quickly became a highly visible CEO making
several major changes at HP. After leaving HP, Fiorina wrote her auto biography “Tough
Choices.” In 2006, chronicling her career and views on leadership, women in business, and the
role of technology in the world.
Carly became a commentator for Fox News and then she served as a consultant to John
McCain’s 2008 U.S. Presidential campaign. In 2009, Fiorina announced she was running for the
U.S. Senate in California. She secured the Republican nomination, running against incumbent
Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer in November 2010 election. In May 4, 2015, Carly announced
her bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. While Carly has never served in elected
office, she has extensive experience dealing with the government as a service provider.
Carly is against gay marriage. When Carly did bother to vote, she voted for
Condoleezza Rice has played a revolutionary part of politics, breaking many barriers by being a woman of color. I do not agree with her on all her stances, but she has proven herself as a viable leader and role model for many young girls, especially of African-American heritage. However, I do not think it is a question “if she could become the first woman president”, instead “would she want/accept that position”. It would not come as a surprise if she never held another position in Washington D.C. again for basic reasons, she does not want
No matter what Condoleezza Rice had to overcome to become who she wanted to be she would do it.
She learned many things just by experience, but she also learned many things from her campaign team. . She also had debate coaches that coached her before her debate with her opponent, Charles Taylor. Her debate coaches taught her the basics of debating. Her campaign manager, Grier Weeks, taught her and advised her throughout her campaign. She also received pointers from the experts like, Jim Margolis. Jim was Bill Clinton’s media advisor. Jim sat down with Maggie and gave her great advice about how to answer questions and how to avoid answering questions she did not want to. This helped Maggie during interviews and debates.
The amount of knowledge and powerful words that can actually get to one’s head is amazing. Michelle Obama was the First Lady for 8 years and stood by former President Barack Obamas side. She is a great example of what today’s kids should look up to. A woman with dedication to her word. A woman with dedication to what she believes. It is pretty easy to say that she has become an impressive public speaker who can deliver a powerful speech to her supporters. In her speech at the DNC in 2016, Michelle Obama did not fill her supporter’s heads with politics and facts, but a great use of personal experience, feelings and connections. Her love for this country and her love for her family is one thing that brought her audience together. In fact, if it wasn’t the great use of ethos, pathos and logos Michelle Obamas speech would have probably have been like any other.
reform the society and laws of America. All in all, Kelley deserves a place in history for her
Born in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., she attended Wellesley College, then earning a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Yale Law School in 1973. This hardworking presidential candidate is a woman who’s been fighting for children and families for over forty years. Someone who has provided her best works in reaching over the limits of a woman and providing millions of children with health care. This person is Hillary Clinton, and these are the only some of the biggest accomplishments she has made during her lifetime, there can and will be more if she gets voted as President of the United States of 2016-2020. She has been through many experiences in government, such as being an American lawyer and politician, U.S.
She fought to ensure homeland security to keep our country safe and she advocates for bipartisan immigration reform that treats immigrants equally and focus on deporting those who threaten national security and make borders more secure. Her position in the House Appropriations committee has served millions of dollars to create jobs on much needed locations and transportation projects that made organizations in her district. She has been on the fight to improve the affordability of health services which led to protect the health of mothers and babies; she accomplished the local health needs that includes the infant and child care, HIV testing, Substance abuse, diabetes treatment, dental etc. she even obtain federal dollars for local education such as afterschool care, early education and magnet
Former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton is known throughout the world for the astounding things she has accomplished, not only in the White House, but out. She is full of passion for whatever she sets as her goal. Her confidence and constant motivational talks set a crowd on fire and her vision for the future leaves most encouraged for they know that she’s on their side. She is constantly aware of what others think of her and works her hardest to make the world a better place and gain the trust of the people. Hillary Rodham Clinton was chosen by her husband to be the leader of the Health Care Reform and supervised research, investigatory trips, financial reports, numerous committees composed of medical and insurance professionals, lawmakers and
Hillary Clinton should not run for president because she has not proved herself in her various roles in our government. While she has had many roles partaking in government positions, it doesn’t mean that she was well noted for them. Many people in the United States like myself, distrust Hillary for her actions in government issues. With the recent event of an online private server being used by Hillary, she released classified information to the public through via e-mails (Jones 2).
What makes a woman run is usually the issues that come up in their lives that make them want to make a difference. For instance, education and children’s safety. The worried mother syndrome is an effective catalyst for social change (page 37). This is a way to take a step towards the public because women tend to act on behalf of their families, rather than themselves. These issues like, safety, education and the environment are seen as women’s issues because women are known to be kind hearted. Madeleine talks about Congresswoman Linda Sanchez and what she sees in a woman that would succeed in running. She sees a woman that runs to be a passionate advocate and somebody who has the energy and the desire to roll up their shirtsleeves and fight
I mean what has she been doing for the past 30 years?” This is going to be a mouth full McKinnon: “I’d be happy to talk about the last 30 years. Back in the 1970’s I worked for the Children’s Defense Fund, then I was a Senator in New York, on 9/11, and then I was Secretary of State
At first, she worked as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in Albany, where she became involved in many issues including domestic violence, women’s rights, and other civil and criminal law suits. Furthermore, she developed a relationship with Hillary Clinton while working for a program of the Democratic National Convention, the Women's Leadership Forum. She went on to support and work on Clinton’s Senate campaign in 2000 and actually donated over $12,000.Eventually, she ran for New York’s 20th congressional district in the House of Representatives against Republican and three-year incumbent John
At twenty-three, Carly Fiorina had dropped out of UCLA Law School with no plans about what she wanted to do with her future. However, almost twenty-two years later, she became president and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Company - the first woman CEO of a Fortune 20 company. She was given a mandate by HP’s board of directors to “shake things up” and was later named the "Most Powerful Woman in Business" by Fortune magazine. Prior to joining HP, Fiorina spent nearly twenty years at AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where she held a number of senior leadership positions (Cara Carleton Fiorina. (2014).
Hillary Clinton, the former first lady and the former Secretary of State for the United States. Over the course of her life she has accomplished many things. Once, when her marriage was just starting out Hillary made $100,000.00 from her law firm and that was more than her husband Bill Clinton who was a former governor of Arkansas. She was and still is one of the most successful lawyers in the United States. With all of these accomplishments and more, do you think that Hillary would make a good president? Over the time that America has been a country there was a certain expectation that a president had to uphold and if she does become president Hillary does have plans that she wants to carry out.
Carly Fiorina is a Texas raised college drop out. Twenty years later this college drop out was named the most powerful businesswoman in America. She went from being a failure to the CEO of one of the most important technology companies in the world, Hewlett-Packard. You might be thinking, how it that possible? Well here is how. “One day two men in that office came to my desk and said, ‘You know, Carly, we’ve been watching you. We think
