Having the decision-making authority resting with the managers was feasible while the number of subordinates was small. As the company started to expand though the higher placed personnel did not have the time to devote to deck plate level decisions. By examining the technology that was employed by Idlenot, the Functional Structure is again a logical choice. With a low variety of tasks and the procedures to handle any exceptions in place the employees were armed with the requisite tools to accomplish the jobs at hand. The environment of the organization will also lead the organization toward a specific structure. In this case the company 's environment would be describes as stable, simple and integrated. The stability came from the company 's suppliers. The same farmers had been delivering milk to the dairy since its opening. There was no likelihood of change in the immediate future. The number of inputs to the diary was small and far from complex. As far as being integrated with the environment, the dairy had a limited number of customers in the local area and a short list of products.

As mentioned above the unequal division of responsibility within department due to lack of job design also results in a bad coordination within the organization. Examples of instance referred to in the case of Duplox would be the interdependence between the TSS and FSM teams; the sales department and the TSS’s, where the sales team don’t put much weight on the argument by the TSS’s that improper installation can cause higher repair and service cost. This not only creates discontentment between department but also affects the bonuses the Directors and managers gain based on the TSS’s productivity which is either met or exceed the past year. High- involvement managerial strategy the supervisor no longer would be the primary controller and evaluator instead would be the facilitator. They would help remove barriers to adequate performance and provide resources and assistance to subordinates to perform efficiently and allow decisions to be made at the lowest possible levels in the organization. The overall leadership style is participative or democratic in nature.

Evolution is present in every step of history. From huts and spears to wood houses and guns, humans are one species that seem to evolve every day. One of our most vital tools in which we keep improving is transportation. A particularly important stage in the United States’ history was the development of the train and the building of railroad tracks. Assembling the railroad did not just impact the transportation industry, but it also ended up impacting a wide variety of different industries. It all started in the 1860’s, when a few gentlemen decided they wanted to connect the East coast with the West coast by building the transcontinental railroad.
. It is very possible that rail is currently permitting something of awakening. Countries that have not traditionally had a culture of rail transit, and regions where there has been a history of underinvestment, are changing course with power. Fantasying how rail adventures might be competed in 2050 and the coming years will help shape the rising role that rail will play in our future.
After the Civil War, the United States were left in shambles. There was much corruption in both politics and economics. The land was filled with metaphorical waste and speculation for the future of the country. A major issue during this time was the building of railroads. Railroads were built at a pace that would only help the rich to get richer and force the workers to work even harder. However, the railroad system also helped the United States in an amazing way, it opened up all the resources in the west. In the nineteenth century, the authorization from Congress, the creation of the major railways, and the strikes of the workers represent different aspects of individual free enterprise, as well as the hope of the government for a prosperous
A major part of Canadian history is about railways, they seemed to transform Canadian societies into something bigger and better. Before railways Canada had been faced with a problem in the winter which was the lack of transportation, railways seemed to transform Canada by providing jobs, illuminating violence, and creating international connections.
