Farmacia Su Salud was founded in 1993 by Dr. Martha Yugcha. With her being a doctor and her husband as well they saw it as the perfect opportunity to start a business and supplement their income as well. Over the years they have grown to a total of fourteen pharmacies. Not all of them are owned by Dr. Martha, they’re owned by family members that have become partners and some that have opened franchises helping the company name grow. They don’t run the same inventory or stock room. When ordering from the suppliers they order separate. And when Dr. Byron passes along the flyer for Saturday’s mega sales Dr. Martha doesn’t want to do it for the same products.

Another weakness is not being able to find the correct staff to hire. Since they don’t have a human resource department Dr. Martha is the one who interviews and goes over the resumes. She used to hire people that didn’t have a pharmaceutical background, but after a while, she noticed that sales would go down or they would take too long to learn where the medicine was placed along with the names.
