Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., an Italian brand, is a manufacturer of luxury sports cars. Lamborghini’s production facility and headquarters are located in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. As the Italian manufacturing magnate, Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company in 1963 with the objective of producing a refined grand touring car to compete with offerings from other established marques such as Ferrari.
Lamborghini was originally a tractor manufacturing company (1960) serving the agriculture industry post World War II. Ferrucio Lamborghini loved sports car in which he owned Maseratis and Ferraris but was soon unhappy with his cars due to clutch failure. He replaced the clutches with his own tractor clutches, which performed better than the

In 2008, Lamborghini produced the Reventon, based from a Murcielago, but further changing the exterior design in resemblance to aircraft fighters. It was priced significantly higher by 200% and was able to garner in more sales figures while producing less numbers (only 20 was ever made).
Lamborghini’s signature models came with a distinctive badging “SV”, which stands for “Super Veloce” or super-fast in English. By turning its regular model into a redesigned exterior with extensive use of carbon fiber (weight reduction) and remapping of the engine (power output increase), the Murcielago SV made it debut in 2009. Priced at about 40% higher than the base models, Lamborghini was thriving even under a bad economic situation.
This strategy continued with the production of the Sesto Elemento (2012), based from a Gallardo but 90% of components made of carbon fiber. The production number was a limited 5, priced 10 times higher than the base model, and all was accounted for before it was even unveiled. The proof of a working formula can be seen in the limited edition of 4 numbers Veneno (Aventador based, 2013), 4 numbers of Veneno Roadster (2013), 1 off Aventador J (Aventador based, 2014), Aventador SV (2015) and finally the Centenario (Aventador based,
Another reason that this car is a beast is that this is a car that came late in the muscle car game. The Mustang, GTO, and the Camaro are already
Vector sold exotic sports cars and was the only US based manufacturer. Their major competition, Ferrari and Lamborghini, took up 75% of the market share. Gerry’s idea was to make a car based off of aerospace technology. They created the V8 twin turbo which was highly advanced and priced. After selling a total of 13 cars, 45 people were employed. Vector built two other models to increase sell volume and decrease losses.
significant improvements in the product line. BMW wanted to position itself as the "best" rather
The 1960's was a big time for muscle cars, and the Plymouth Road Runner was one of the best. It was great on the street and even better on the race track. In 1976, Plymouth made a big mistake, they made a new Volare Road Runner that wasn't even as close to as good as the others. Its engine only had 160 horsepower and it rusted so much that Plymouth had to recall it. Another car that didn’t do so well was the Delorean. Even though it was a big hit in Back to the Future, the actual car didn't meet standards. The 1980 to 1981 Delorean DMC-12 might have had gull wing doors and the body panels might have been stainless steel, but compared to five other sports cars it was the slowest
The Camaro and the Mustang are two of the fascinating cars around in the United States, period. “Their names are recognizable even to people who really don’t care about car, and over the past few decades they’ve assembled legions of rabidly loyal followers”(Edelstein 8). Diehard fans will dependably hold their picked top picks most importantly else, and it is truly difficult to pick between the two vehicles that radiate so much coolness. But at the end, opinions are opinions. Different sources prove different things, but all based off what you really think is the
However this car didn’t make the cut, it in the beginning was part of the model line for the Dodge Coronet (Gunnell, Pg 96). This car gained its fame in the 1960’s; in the era of the bad boy cars. Back then the car was different, but every star starts somewhere. The Challenger was an answer to the Mustang and the Camaro; a rival in the roads. The Mustang was well rooted in the public image of a muscle car or a pony car, however the Challenger was successful selling over 71000 models in its first year ("FCA US Media Website"). In this era, the muscle car was also dying, but still the challenger was up with the other great cars; like the infamous Mustang ("FCA US Media Website"). This car was Dodge’s answer to Ford and Chevrolet, and for being considerably less years on the road; it did fairly
Dr.-Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, alias Porsche AG is a German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans and the introduction of Boxter in 1996 created a lot of furore for the simple reason that this was the first time that the manufacture of the car would happen outside Germany and for the first time Porsche would be entering the fast growing sport-utility vehicle (SUV) market by 2002.

how they market their cars, and how well the car is already doing. The Audi R8 is an extremely popular car, both because of its great specs and engineering, and because of its good price point. The Audi R8 is both a good product and the marketing behind it is good, therefore this product will be ‘fabulous’.
Koenigsegg Agera R, McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron SS and Lamborghini Veneno. These are some of the best, most flashiest super cars out there, and cars that are the subject of envy among many. And who can blame these guys? These supercars that have defined a generation are known for their shocking sticker prices, thus making them status symbols, they move from 0 to 60 mph in a zip, and they get attention and any time, anywhere especially for local Casanovas. Because these trimmings and promises, many people dream about owning and driving a McLaren, a Koegnisegg or Lamborghini and enjoy the magical ride. But is it worth the hype, the attention and your time?
Ferry Porsche designed the firm’s first car, the Porsche 356. Although its body was an original design many Volkswagen parts were used to save costs. The original car was fast and very light weight, gaining attention by taking first place in the Innsbruck city race. Production was transferred from Austria to Stuttgart in 1950. The firm focused on performance and continued to reengineer and refine the car. By the late 1950’s the Porsche 356 utilized far fewer parts from Volkswagen. Figure 3 shows a 1951 split windshield 356 Cabriolet.
Porsche is one of the most well-known brands in the world. In customers' minds, Porsche stands for exclusivity, class, and high quality. The company's marketing strategy is oriented towards identifying the needs and preferences of a small group of customers and on developing car models that satisfy these needs. However, Porsche was forced to introduce several models on the market that were not in accordance with what typical customers of the company usually prefer. These models refer to lower-priced cars, but also to high class SUVs like Cayenne and Panamera.
