Tiffany Rascon grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and is currently studying at the W.P Carey School of Business for her Economics major. Her decision to come to Arizona State University is credited to the fact that her older sister and brother both came to Arizona State University as well. So far, she enjoys the overall experience that Arizona State is offering her. The diversity the campus has within its student body is one of her favorites. She loves meeting people from all different walks of life. The two words that describe Tiffany best are outgoing and friendly. The audit failure in the situation of Rita Crundwell the failure was exacerbated by the fact that the auditors continually signed off on the misstated statements for years. Crundwell is responsible for many of the deficiencies mentioned, such as the missing funds and the incorrect invoices. However, she is not the sole person responsible for this fraud. The lack of internal control is to blame, and this cannot be placed on a single person. The government should have separated duties and used
1. There are a few boundary issues that need to be addressed. The social worker developed a personal relationship with Bea. Bea was in need of additional income, she wanted to find a female to rent her spare room to. The social worker had a friend, “a woman who might be interested” renting the room (Hoffman, & St. Clair, 2003, p. 46). She asked for permission to let her friend know of the room, asking to releasing Bea’s information was appropriate. The boundary issue is that the social worker should have not even offered her friend as an option to rent the room. This situation becomes a conflict of interest and cross the boundaries of social worker and client (NASW, 2008, p. 7). In addition to this situation the social worker admitted to having
The fundamental assumption is that learning and practicing negotiation skills can be learned. Others, however, assume that diplomacy and negotiation are things that can never be learned or taught. They believe that you are either born a negotiator or you are not. Unfortunately, this is a very shortsighted assumption. The approach to this will be to use all the information that was provided in the analysis to determine the best position of strategy to save the Opera on opening day, to find a fiscal solution that will benefit both the Opera and Sally using a BATNA strategy.
Julie Mialaret is my mother and she is 53 years old. My mother exercises very rarely because of her intense work schedule. She says it is hard for her to have the energy everyday to work out after long work hours. She has never smoked in her life because she does not find it appealing. Mrs. Mialaret eats a very low-fat diet and eats very small portions. My mother eats very healthy and is able to maintain her weight without exercise. She faces no barriers when it comes to eating healthy because growing up she ate little portions and couldn't afford fast food. I would like to change my eating habits to better reflect my mom's diet however, I would like to incorporate some sort of exercise into my daily routine. My mom hopes to start exercising

A couple of culture-specific protective factors that may have helped Andrea cope with the racism that she faced church attendance, community involvement, and family. Church attendance would have helped Andrea by helping her recognize that racism exist and helping her forgive. If Andrea isn’t religious, her community might also have helped her cope with the racism she faced. She could've created a support group with other individuals that have also faced racism. Her family could of helped her with social support such as caring, love and affection.
She is a born leader, and works excellently in groups and frequently pushes her groups to reach their goals. Furthermore, I have rarely seen a student more respectful to both teachers and her peers than Georgia. She is a very social person, and is both outgoing and funny. Georgia is also exceptionally creative. She is always pushing herself to look at challenges and assignments in a different way and it always pays off, especially when writing essays and in other written assignments, as she is an amazing writer. The characteristics that Georgia has demonstrated throughout her entire high school career have prepared her for the upcoming challenge of collegiate academics. I am certain she will approach these new opportunities with the same persistency and drive for excellence that she applies to all of her endeavors, especially as she challenges herself with the new learning experiences and community that are available in the college setting. To conclude, Georgia is an extraordinary student and person, and I recommend her to this school with my highest regards. Sincerely, Georgia Beckmann Head of College Counselling Prospect Hill Academy Charter School Collegiate
The case of Kathryn Mc Neil deals with the issue of separation in the workplace regarding the nonperformance of a single mother whose work was suffering because of the tremendous additional burden of raising a child. The case was written in 1994 but in the intervening years significant decisions have been made by the law (in the US) protecting the rights of the single mother. The debate is no longer exclusively about professionalism versus corporate responsibility but the new phenomenon of a third gender in the workplace.
