When reviewing the program cost and time frame there are two options the organization can go with on the tuition reimbursement program. The first is a longer lower cost program from Eastern Oregon University, the total cost of the program is $18,275.00 and takes approximately 30 months for the employee to finish. The benefit for this program is the lighter course study that is extended out for 2.5 years. This is the best option in controlling cost as it cost are less and are spread as seen in Table1. In this program, after the second year there are six employees in various stages of the program, as seen in Table 2. The potential drawback to this is the time management and tracking of these employees in the various stages of the program. Additionally, job forecasting would be vital in deciding when these management position would become available. The second option, would be the accelerated 18-month program with Marylhurst University for $30,144.00. The benefits for this program is the shorter timeframe for completion in the MBA program. The advantage would be MBA graduates available to fill organization openings sooner. The drawback would be the cost and time management. Do to the accelerated program the employees would need to study more as the course material is more condensed. Furthermore, the cost is more as seen in Table1, and in this program from year 2 on there are two employees starting and within six months two employees graduating from the MBA program. This means that after year one two employees will be ready for management positions within six month, as seen in Table 2.
