This is in response to the above-referenced complaint filed by Ms. Lisa Wadsworth, received by Verizon Wireless on March 6, 2017. Ms. Wadsworth reports her daughter visited an agent location to purchase a new phone thinking it was a direct Verizon Store. She purchased a new iPhone 6 and agreed to a device payment plan. However, the representative did not explain to her that she would also have to pay off remaining amount for her existing device payment plan. It was not until she received her next invoice that she realized she was billed for three device payment plans. Account records show Ms. Wadsworth has been a Verizon Wireless customer since December 12, 2005. The Device payment plan offers customers a simple monthly installment payment

A copy of the December 12, 2016 and January 12, 2017, invoices were mailed to the address on Mr. Davis’ account. Also, he was provided self-serve options where he could view the past 18 months of bills such as My Verizon (www.verizonwireless.com) or #BAL via his wireless device. On March 23, 2017, Mr. Davis account as disconnected for non-payment.
