On 05/24/2018 at approximately 1830 hours, I, Deputy A. Martinez Vazquez (117015) responded to (Boys Town) 1415 Flanagan Ln., Oviedo, Seminole County, FL., in reference to a battery over with. I was notified that the battery was between two juveniles a 12 and 17 year old and both juveniles were separated at the time. When I arrived, I spoke with Javaro Rooks an employee of the institution at Boys Town who stated that Javarius Deloach (B/M DOB:12/06/2001) hit another juvenile, Gres Jr. Robinson (B/M DOB:03/07/2006), in the back of the neck by with an open palm. Javaro told me that the incident happened at the basketball court behind the residence.

On this date worker visited Shadescrest NH, for the purpose of case monitoring. When worker arrived Mr. Hopson was lying in bed sleeping. He was appropriately dressed with good personal hygiene. During visit worker was unable to wake Mr. Hopson. Worker spoke with charge nurse and learned Mr. Hopson was doing well. Mr. Hopson became long-term Medicaid approved in Sept. beginning in August.

OTHER BUSINESS: Commissioner Everett referred to the last Commissioner’s meeting discussion regarding Harcatus Tri County Community Action’s request for the use of three parking spaces in the Fair Avenue parking lot. Commissioner Everett has spoken with Jane Clay, Executive Assistant/Park Coordinator and Ms. Clay believes the parking lot is probably full. Commissioner Everett said the county needs to resolve the issue of the four spaces formerly used by Tischbein State Farm before they can proceed with the request from Harcatus. Commissioner Everett asked if there is a list of county employees that park in the Fair Avenue lot. Commissioner Abbuhl said the county employees have a choice of which lot (Fair or Front Ave.) they park in. I agree the supervisor’s created a hostile and disrespectful work environment.
