Once loans are repaid, the money can be used to fund new loans and help more impoverished individuals. Throughout high school I have participated in color guard which has allowed me to strengthen my organizational and leadership skills. I have taken these abilities to arrange the project and inform all members of the opportunity. My presentation skills have greatly improved since the start of this project though the numerous displays of the goals and procedures. To reach all members this year, I plan to attend meeting held by other sponsors for other grade levels to provide a personal announcement of the Kiva Project.
Gerald Arthur “Jerry” Sandusky is an American convicted child molester, serial rapist and retired college football coach. Sandusky was born on January 26, 1944 in Washington, Pennsylvania. Low-income Brooklyn residents describe very stressful lives, with concerns that include, but are not limited to, employment, housing (which is in increasingly short supply with the gentrification of many Brooklyn neighborhoods), safety, access to healthy food, and appropriate resources for children and teens. (New York Academy of Medicine, 2014). This being established I would like to set up a “Better Care for a Lower Fare” campaign in regards to low income families who are dealing with the everyday stress of trying to provide better for their family.
My slogan for the campaign is “Let education and happy family be our focus for better tomorrow.”

In this paper I will be explaining the case of Clifford Robert Olson, who was arrested for the murder of 11 children in 1982.To start off, I will be giving you a quick summary about the case. Clifford Olson had a substantial criminal record. He was arrested on August 12, 1981, with the suspicion of attempts to abduct 2 girls. Just 13 days later on August 25th, he had been charged with the murder of Judy Kozma. Clifford had killed 11 children between the ages 12-18 and he refused to confess unless he got a deal. Of course, like any deal it was a very controversial one. Olson agreed to confess to the 11 murders and tell the authorities where the missing bodies were; but he wanted $10,000 for each victim paid into a trust for his wife and his

Billions of dollars are spent by thousands of lobbyists that work within Congress each year to see if they can alter or eliminate federal policies that they feel need are no longer needed or that need to be modified. Does the influence of money make it possible for the lobbyist to be more effective in changing the federal policies? This is a question that has been asked many times and with different points of views and opinions. It is sometimes said the person with the most money has the most influence but I don’t believe that that is always true.
For Gibson Southern’s 2017 Mock Congress assignment I was given bill numbers two and eleven. Bill two was “A Bill to Incentivize a Shift to Green Energy by Increasing Investments in Nuclear Energy”. Bill eleven was “A Resolution to End Tax Exemptions for Religious Institutions”. I was a member of the Gold Party, therefore, I was for bill eleven and opposing bill two.
In 1965, the United States congress passed the Immigration and Nationality Act, also known as Hart-Celler act, which abolished the national quota system for immigrants and broaden the opportunity for migrants from Asia, Africa and Latin America to be American citizen. This act fundamentally shifted the ethnic composition of immigrants and overall the US population. One of the immigrant who was able to came to the US because of this law was my uncle. He moved from Bangladesh to the US in 1985 by work visa and later became an US citizen in 1992. Like many other new immigrants, he had a very limited knowledge about American culture and society. Since there were very few people from same national origin as his at that time, he struggled to transition

Charles W. Baker and other Tennessee citizens claimed that a 1901 law aimed to apportion the seats for the state's General Assembly was practically disregarded. Baker's suit described how Tennessee's reapportionment efforts ignored substantial economic progress and population changes within the state. The plaintiff contested the malapportionment of state legislatures under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. The district court did not agree and held that the state legislature was responsible for such a decision. Specifically, the court held that the question was a political one. The plaintiff appealed.
Based on the information presented in the case of 39 year-old Douglas Murrow, he has been charged with criminal infractions consisting of breaking and entering his parent’s home in the middle of the night, as well as physically assaulting them. Murrow constantly theorizes about a conspiracy plot against him and has consistently displayed episodes of paranoid, delusional behavior. Murrow’s erratic behavior is marked by the belief that “his parents” are “conspiring with his doctor” to force him to take psychopharmaceuticals. The delusional ideation is amplified by Murrow’s insistence that his parents are entering into “his apartment at night” to torture “him” while he is asleep (Laureate Education, Inc., 2017).
I had a conversation with Rod Schilling (Signals - Traffic Operations) and he said me that he has been unsuccessfully trying to execute a master signal maintenance agreement with the County during the last 2 years. We need to provide him some information on who requested the emergency signal and why NDOT is going to construct it. So that, he can include it in the master agreement that NDOT is negotiating with the County for signals maintenance.
