How have sea horses adapted better to survive in their habitat? Sea horses use camouflage, get food by the currents of the water, and use bone plates to protect them instead of scales. They are often hard to find and they have to have a good way to hide because they can’t get away fast enough.
The way sea horse’s camouflage is by changing colors. Sea horses often do this because they are lousy at run away. In paragraph 3 it states, “These fish are masters of disguise. They can change colors to camouflage themselves, and feature bumps called tubercles (say: TOO-bur-kullz) that also help them blend in. They have to be good at hide-and-seek since they’re lousy at run-away.” This shows how sea horses camouflage and the fact that they have to be
One way that sea horses have been able to adapt is their hard scales. Their scales keep them protected from hard hits and of course almost getting a big bite taken out of them. If something does try to take a bite it won't do anything because of how non-tender they are. It states in paragraph 4, sentence 3, that," This makes them less than tender snacks for most predators."
Giraffes are great examples of animals that have adapted to their habitat in the unique only to them. Their physique and their environment play a large role.

It is a historical fiction that takes place during the Third Crusade, the story beginning at Hartslove Castle in England with a quarrel between two of the main characters, William and Gavin, sons of Sir Thomas de Granville, the head of the castle, and a young orphaned girl, Ellie. Ellie and Will have a strong bond tying them together, but because Gavin is the eldest son, Ellie is promised to become his wife when they are old enough. While reading and evaluating the syntax, rhetoric, and literary elements within the novel, as well as annotating it, I have noticed that it is stronger in some areas than it is others.

The first ancestors of the modern horse bore little resemblance to the large, powerful domesticated animals of today. The very earliest ancestor of the horse would have resembled in its appearance the modern-day dog and had many omnivorous rather than herbivorous features, such as its tooth construction and density and its propensity for 'browsing' or foraging. Hyracotherium (or eohippus) measured about 10 inches at the shoulder and had an "arched back, short neck, short snout, short legs, and long tail" (Hunt 1995). It had 'toes' rather than a hoof: 4 toes in the front, and 3 in the back and "low-crowned teeth with 3 incisors, 1 canine, 4 distinct premolars and 3 'grinding' molars in each side of each jaw (Hunt 1995).

A. One time I was showing in a horse show st Columbus, Ohio it was congress. While I was showing my horse Sonny he ran down to a stop a hit the ground really hard and I about fell off so I grabbed the horn. The ground at congress is not very good, it is really deep and heavy. I hate grabbing the horn because it does not look good and it makes you look like you cannot ride. When he hit the ground real hard I lost my stirrup while he checked the ground. When he got back in the ground he hit it even harder and thats when I grabbed the horn.
