Child soldiers are struggling with recovering from their unbearable life they lived involving wars and deaths. These are children who become fearless and careless on killing innocent lives such as their own blood, in order to keep themselves alive. These children are either considered victims or perpetrators, but their isn’t a wrong or right answer. Child soldiers live in a terrible place that isn’t required for these children. Throughout society today there has been multiple arguments on how to categorize these children in. The article Armed & Underage it helps verify, “His bed is a fly-covered mattress that he shares with two other child soldiers... In blown-out buildings, children load bullets twice the size of their fingers.” This has proven that children are in horrible living conditions and shouldn’t be consider perpetrators. This also explains how these children homes are terribly conditioned due to these explosives. Also, these kids seem to live as if they were homeless when children shouldn’t have to because they’re just children. Being a child soldier really affects their lives because these children aren’t properly educated, the way they should be. The only way they’re simply taught is to kill people and involved with drug. It has been proven that these children have never been to a school or school playground. This shows that these children don’t have it very easy growing up while being a child soldier. These children are victims because once they’re enforced or enlisted with the army they are not able to leave. Most of these children have become orphaned because their family is dead from the brutal wars they’ve caused, but growing up also threatens their life because they’re diagnosed with physiological trauma and seriously injured or permanently at a very young age because of their commanders allowing them to fight in brutal wars.
