Skipping meals or not eating on a regular eating schedule can result in bigger portions when grabbing food. It is a good idea to not skip meals, especially breakfast, and maintain a regular eating pattern. As a child’s body weight increases, so does their consumption of fast foods and soft drinks. Soft drinks contain an excessive amount of sugar, but that's why the kids go for it. The sugar in the drinks makes you feel thirsty so you’ll go back for more.
