I had to choose one college that interests me and has the career I would like to study. The college that I chose was UC Davis, I think UC Davis is the perfect college for me because it’s the top university for veterinarians. UC Davis also has different courses and majors that I am really interested in. What was also interesting to me was when I really researched the school facts and got to know college students perspectives that attend UC Davis.
UC Davis is located in Davis, California, which is about 770 miles away from Phoenix, Arizona. UC Davis is about 5,300 acres and has about 23,542 students. It is a public college that has on-campus housing, with around 9,000 students living in the dorms. If I were to attend this college, I would most

My goal if I were attend UC Davis is to apply for as many scholarships as I can so I won’t have to pay as much, or even not pay anything at all with a full ride scholarship. The estimated yearly cost for living on-campus is $35,003. That’s a lot of money, so I’m hoping I won’t have to pay that every year. Not all students pay $35,003 a year, 72% of students receive financial aid so even if I don’t get a scholarship maybe I can get financial aid.
I wanted to know different things about this school, such as what kind of people attend this school, and other facts too. One interesting fact is that the student-faculty ratio is 19:1, for undergraduates. I also found that there are different kinds of people to get to know and meet from not just the US but the world.
I wanted to know what kind of stuff is there to do at the college and around the college. I found out that UC Davis actually has quite a few traditions. One of the traditions they have is Picnic Day. Picnic day is when people come together as a community, and they have more than 200 events. Picnic Day is one of UC Davis’ biggest day. You can also check out downtown and go to other events that UC Davis has.
I think this college is fit for me because it has the classes I need to become a veterinarian and it’s the best college for people who want to become
To conclude with, I want to say that this school is highly rated. It is also one of the top high schools in Jersey City. The quality of learning is awesome, there are many different courses, and it is hopefully going to bring me even closer to the most important goal in life for me.Go figure it is the best and who would not want to join. I wish I am one of those people who will be a freshmen next year in this
I chose NDSU because I feel like I was pretty well acquainted with the campus during my time in high school. Each summer, for FFA, my chapter, along with others from across the state, spent a week here competing in different agricultural competitions. Also, I talked with alumni from this nursing program, and they all said it was set up very well, and also put them on a track to getting a good job afterwards. When I came for a tour earlier this spring, I got to hear a speech from the Dean of nursing, and I just sort of felt like this was the right place. On a side note, I like being here because of the agricultural side of NDSU as well, even if I’m not necessarily going into a field pertaining to it. It seems more like home to me, when the person next to me, going into Vet Tech, rides horse as much as I did.
Plenty of different factors effected my decision to come to Catawba. Everything in my life lead me up to this point. First being recruited and coming down to visit the team and watch them play were life deciding moments. Catawba will definitely help define who I am as a person and help me become a better one down the road. Socially, academically, and athletically I am sure Catawba College was the right choice.
The big question that is asked when going to a college is why do you choose our college. Well let me tell you. There are thousands of colleges to choose from and I decide on Lake Land College, because they have the program I want to eventually be in. They are affordable and they are always willing to help you with any problems you have.
I've always wanted to go to college my whole life. I didn't know what I wanted to do later in life, or what I wanted to major in. My dream was always to just go to college. As a sophomore in high school I discovered the basic field I wanted to be in, the veterinary world. My junior year I knew which profession I wanted to be involved with; however, I wasn't quite sure which role. Now as a senior, I know exactly what I want to do with my life. I am hoping that UTK will be the college for me. I have previously visited UTK, and it just felt right. Visiting other colleges, nothing compared to the uniqueness and homelike atmosphere of UTK. Being a Kentucky resident, I am quite familiar with Tennessee, and it is one of my favorite states. I am hoping to fulfill my dreams here at UTK, and continue further down my path to success.
Most importantly, it has the major (Agricultural Science) that I want to take and study in. With an acceptance rate of 39%, it will be challenging to have a chance but I am willing to go through with it. Its location is also convenient that it is in Pomona, California. This school would be a good fit for my personal needs and career aspirations because it has the major I want, is locally efficient, and is one of the few universities that teaches students by having them do it themselves. I will pursue admission to this college and see where it leads me in the
When I toured the school and got to stay overnight with amazing student hosts, not only did I fall in love with the campus, but with the welcoming people, California weather, and the thought of the numerous opportunities awaiting me. It was simply a home away from home.
it is a very prominent and successful school. I have also received my Bachelor of Science degree at
I know that this college would be a great opportunity to show others that you can come from nothing and actually become something. I live in a family where my mother dropped out of school in the 8th grade and my father didn’t go to college. I will be the first in the family to go to college. I feel as though this college would be the best college to start out with.
And live in the real world and have the job you will proceed in the future. This college has great opportunities, and they are willing to make your dream come true. They will work with you every step of the way, they will almost make sure you get what youre wanting to be in the job field.
The University of San Diego is the most picturesque and interesting school I have ever seen. The amazing campus flows on top of the massive hills and above the amazing city of San Diego. From any building or road on campus, you can get a view unattainable anywhere else in the world. The attribute though, that separates this university from all others, is the history behind it. The rich religious history gives every part of the campus meaning, not found at many other universities in America.
UCSC students are feeling the full effect of the housing crisis and over admittance in Santa Cruz—there are more people trying to live in Santa Cruz than the town can hold and rent is skyrocketing beyond what poor students can afford. While UCSC has promised to build more housing, none of it will be reserved for students who need year round housing. Currently, 53.3%
If you are seeking a superior college education, that will guide you down a successful career path, then, California State Universities, are your most logical choices. As of today the California State University system is the largest system within the United States and is “comprised of twenty-three member (23) institutions (New Faculty Survival Guide/Governance pg.1).”
I chose to research the University of California Riverside for several reasons. I wanted to attend a four year university that was in California, was reasonably close to home, had similar weather that I was used to, and had a large campus with a medium to large amount of students. UCR seemed to fit that description best, and it appealed to me most because of how close to home it is. UCR is within 20 minutes from home, and it meets all of the other requirements I wished for in a college that I would like to attend. UCR is one of the easier California Universities to get into, which is anothermajor reason why I chose this college. The University of California Riverside will be a perfect fit for both my personal needs and my career because of the environment the college is located in, the amount of students attending and extra curricular activities avalible, and the ease of the application process and the acceptance rate.
The University of California, Berkeley, or UC Berkeley, is one of the finest colleges. UC Berkeley is located in Berkeley, California, and is a public coed school with approximately 27,496 students. Oski the Bear, the mascot, was first seen in 1941 with the school colors, Berkeley Blue and California Gold. Despite all the choices students have after high school, UC Berkeley is the most sensible option considering its academics, achievements, and uniqueness.
