There are a variety of differing worldviews in practice today. Every person has a worldview that is shaped by their experiences, pasts, families, traditions, values, and beliefs that form the core of who they are. The Christian worldview is no exception. This worldview is formed by the beliefs and teachings of the Bible. The worldview is shaped and centered around the view of who God is, the purpose of humanity, the true identity of Jesus, the restoration of humans to God, acknowledging the strengths and weakness of the worldview, and the practicality of living out the worldview.

My personal Christian worldview is full of heavy doses of God, and plenty of drizzles of the Bible, and it was born from a combination of how I was raised, my life experiences, and my assumptions. This worldview is heavily involved as I bring up my children to love God, and do my best to be a good wife to my husband. Most of all, this combination has filled my heart and soul with the conclusion that God is my all!

A person’s worldview is determined by the sum total of their life experience. It is a framework by which a person makes sense of his/her world. Moreover, it is a combination of beliefs and how those beliefs influence emotions, choices, and actions in everyday life (Hays & Erford, 2014). A Christian’s worldview is also made up of a summary of one’s life experience, but also includes a biblical view of the world based on the direction provided by the unfailing Word of God (McMinn, 2011). It is only through acceptance of God’s grace, love, and compassion, that true healing can be accomplished (Psalms 103:2-4, New International Version).

Define my worldview. First I will explain what is a worldview. A worldview according to www.summit.org is known as a framework from which we view reality and make sense of life and the world. Worldview is basic on ideology, philosophy, theology, movement, or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world and man’s relations to God and the world.

A Christian worldview is a comprehensive view of the world from a biblical standpoint. With a number of each Christian distinct, biblical elements a Christian’s view of the world should be an integrated whole. Christianity remains the largest religious group to this day (Hackett & McClendon, 2017). However, how strong a person’s faith is can influence how they identify the Christian ideas accurately. Thus, people interpret the religion differently because we all have different worldviews. A worldview is how a person perceives assumptions or beliefs about life that influence how we comprehend and how we live. One must delve into the essential elements of the Christian worldview: God, humanity, Jesus, and restoration, and how they truly align with their worldview.

A worldview can be described as the way an individual views reality and the basis in which they try to make sense of the globe at large. There are different aspects that help shape the view of a person in connection to the world, and one of those aspects is Christianity. Christianity enables people to be able to understand a person’s relation and connection to God and also the world (Lewis, 2012). Although not everyone believes in Christianity, it can be concluded that it still helps shape the view of people in the world mainly because is the religion that has the highest number of people and hence it is an important aspect in helping people understand the world.

The world’s current population is seven billion and growing each day (Worldometers, 2015). A planet occupied by seven billion people all separated by continents, languages, and cultural barriers. With so many people and so many various factors that make them different, there is one thing that crosses all barriers and brings people together, religious worldviews. One widely shared and embraced worldview is that of Christianity. The Christian worldview believes and holds importance in God, humanity, Jesus, and the restoration of people.

A Christian worldview would encompass the framework that we must view the world through the lens of the Bible. Human Nature: I have not given much thought as to identifying my Christian worldview on paper, and rarely have I given it much thought. To be a born again is to believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ one must take a stand for the fundamental principles of the Gospel. Those principles include belief in God as the creator of the universe and all that are on the earth and Jesus Christ as the Son of God who came to save the world from sin and redeem us back to God. The absolute truth that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived, died on the cross for all mankind for the sins both seen and unseen, and rose from the grave on the third day, who has now has ascended to heaven. He will return to take us back to the place that he has prepared for the bride to come and live with him in eternity. God the Father is the Absolute, Sovereign, eternal God who has no beginning and no end, who moves in and out of time to have interaction at his will with the children of men. The scripture is viewed as the infallible Word of God and they were written by men of old who were inspired by God. Therefore, the Christian worldview that I ascribe to are the ones that I have previously noted. Now there are those who would question or disagree with my next principle, however, I feel that a Christian should possess this nature as well.
