Approximately, fifty days after Jesus was executed, the Christian church had begun at Pentecost. Today, a large percentage of the world population are followers of this faith. The Bible is the center of Christian faith and they follow the teachings of Jesus Christ or Nazareth. There are four denominations of Christianity and they all follow the Bible as so. As a result, Christians believe that one is absolved and saved if he or she confess their sins and believe in the resurrection of

Christianity was founded in the time period around 365 AD by Jesus Christ and his disciples in Judea which is now present day Israel. Jesus was a Jew and he went around teaching and healing people, soon enough, a group of men followed him later to become known as his disciples. With the uprising of Christianity came beliefs, two beliefs are Forgiveness of Sins and The Trinity. In depth, Forgiving of Sins means through faith and repentance your sins will be cleansed. Christianity is a monotheistic religion that is based on the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who they believe is their Messiah. Christianity, which was formed in the 1st Century, was based off of Judaism, a religion that also believes in Jesus but does not believe that he was the Messiah. Islam and Christianity seem to have very little in common; however, the two actually show strong likeness, principally in the central areas. Both Muslims and Christians are monotheists, believing in one God. While both believe in the same God, He is called by two completely different names. He is referred to as "Allah" by Muslims and "God" by Christians. Although Islam and Christianity are two different religions, their similarities in beliefs and prayers make them comparable in many aspects.

The three major branches of Christianity are Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Protestantism.
Many religions have impacted the thoughts and beliefs of millions around the world. Two of these religions are Islam and Christianity, both of which are similar, yet, incredibly different. Christianity, which had come long before Islam, is known to be the root of Islam which makes sense since the two religions share much in common. Similarities and differences arise in many topics and situations, but differences take over and divide them into
