Climate change is resulted due to unrestrained pollution. Carbon emissions that enter the earth’s atmosphere have a very dangerous effect on our environment, economy and wellbeing. This major problem earth is facing can be fixed if we all work as one.
Climate change is caused by carbon emissions being trapped in earth’s atmosphere. The pollution that is trapped in our atmosphere then heats up changing earth’s climate patterns. Scientists are confident that global temperatures will continue to rise for many years to come, all because of human activities. The intergovernmental panel on climate change also known as the IPCC came to a conclusion that it is 90% probable that the globe is warming due to human activities over the past 250 years. The IPCC, has a large depth of knowledge with having over one thousand three hundred scientists. The IPPC scientists predict a temperature rise of 2.5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit over the next century.
Whilst the climate changes and the globe warms there are several major effects that is having a large impact on our environment, for example the polar ice caps. Each summer due to climate change the polar ice cap is melting due to warm water. Sea ice reflects heat from the sun, while water adsorbs it. Less ice means more heat which means less ice. Temperatures are rising drastically with our last decade being the hottest on record.
