College Tour Critics 4140 will be a company consisting of trained critics who review and consult colleges across the country. The overall goal of the company is to help our customers—American colleges and universities—improve their campus tour experience. The 4,140 colleges and universities in the United States collectively spend over a billion dollars into marketing their school every year. Logically, a majority of this money funds the campus tour experience. Despite this inflow of money, many prospective college students feel that most college tours do not satisfy their expectations. College Tour Critics 4140, in close advisory with colleges and their prospective students, will have the knowledge and experience to effectively improve a college’s
For Hillsborough Community College to attract the most students and achieve higher retention rates, Differentiated Marketing would be the best practice. Because Hillsborough Community College is predominantly diverse, target marketing groups should include dual-enrolled students, recent high-school graduates, young adults, and career-oriented adults seeking higher education. A smaller marketing group to consider is the mature adult over the age of 60 who are seeking recreational classes. Promotional messages should be developed to target each group in order to increase attraction and retention in each group category. The main marketing focus of HCC has been on the high school market, and not in actively recruiting the adult market (Clarus 16). Though the high school market may always display a greater percentage of students attending HCC, other marketing groups may show an improved interest if promotional messages are targeted to each group, thus increasing overall attendance.
Henry Ou, Derrick Kwok, the President and the Vice President of Air & Sea Travel Center also serves as Tour Director of our company who would plan, organize, and conduct short-distance, long-distance travel, tours, and expeditions for individuals and groups. To be a successful Tour Director, personal skills and qualities are often more important than formal qualification. In memorable trip, our clients expect not only what they are going to visit, eat, and play, but also the excellent “people” skills of our Tour Directors who would bring them happiness, surprises, and make sure that arrangements for the group to run as smoothly and enjoyably as possible since the tourism industry is characterized by high-contact services in which co-creation of clients plays a major role (Grissemann & Stokburger-Sauer, 2012). Joylyn, Ina, and Phoebe are responsible for organizing and setting up the tour by making reservation for hotels, restaurants, cruises, gate tickets, and more. In most of the time, they would make a reservation earlier and deliver special requests to the service provider from the client in order to have availability to everyone in the group and make our client feel that they are valued because we listen and we care.

When people hear the word “college”, many panic inside at the thought. But, when I hear the word “college” I think about Illinois State University. In early July, I attended an Open House at ISU for my very first official college visit. As I stepped onto campus, I couldn’t but help to feel like it was my future home. Many aspects of the tour made me draw nearer to choosing this college after finishing my High School career. Illinois State University seems to fit my personality very well, has an amazing program for what I want to study, and is an outstanding campus for my academic strengths and weaknesses.

She explained that in recent years, many copies of “Harvard Assessment Seminars I and II” had been issued to professors to develop college student’s education further. As well as these books, Light’s book had also been used to broaden the system. Millis further stated that Light’s book involved lengthy interviews that apprehended student’s college lifestyles. This case study discusses the differences between Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and other well-known universities such as Berkley, Harvard and Stanford. For instance, SNHU College of Online and Continuing Education is not vanity project, unlike other big name colleges such as Harvard and Stanford who offers online classes for its purpose of mostly a branding exercise (Pearce & Robinson, 2015). Furthermore, SNHU differs from other colleges in their admissions processes, graduation rates, lower prices, and the way they address quality in their programs (Kingkade, 2014). SNHU is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic private, non-profit universities in the country (Pearce et al., 2015). According
I am interested in Central Connecticut State University because it offers a solid Engineering program. Attending Louisiana State University would be an honor, considering it would allow me to achieve my goals of becoming a family lawyer. Being present to college will determine where I will end up in life. At LSU I would be in an outstanding position to attend law school after I obtained my bachelors degree in the sociology major. However, it would also be an excellent opportunity for me to adjust in a large city. In addition, Louisiana State University is only three hours away from home ,and so I wouldn’t be that far away just in case of an emergency. Being that LSU has an exceptional graduation rate , I understand that I would have a better chance at success.
