Compare Why College Is Better Than High School

Each year schools of 25 teachers would use about 62,500 pieces of paper. The amount of paper you use each day depends on the class you have. It also depends on the teacher of the class. Schools of more than 25 teachers would use more paper. It also depends how many students are in each class, and in the school overall. I think you use more paper in high school than you do in middle school. There are three other ways high school is different than middle school.

In high school a student will get a worksheet that can be completed in 15-20 minutes, but in college there is a lot more researching, reading, and homework. The work will be much more difficult and will require a lot more effort and time,but I am willing to try my best. I will need to study more often and be able to manage my time to pass my classes to get the credit that I need to graduate and some extra for college. So far in high school, I have taken the highest level class my high school has to offer,I took advantage of it . Colleges are more strict and require more time, but the best education a person gets the bigger of a chance they will head down a wonderful path in

Even though high school and college have the same purpose, each has a very different way of handling students and their policies. High school is a lot more strict with their rules including dress codes and schedules. However, college professors and deans treat their students more as adults, and expect them to do what they are supposed and act how they are supposed to. Education after high school is a responsibility, not an obligation. You are no longer forced to become educated, but much rather choose to be.

A big difference between college and high school is a new place of living. When you're at home and going to high school your parents cook, shop, and make sure you do your work. At college things are different; you have to do all those that you parents did at home. An example would be doing your laundry. Not many kids do their own laundry, so when it comes to college, things are very different. That's why people say that when you're in college you tend to mature due to the new style of living, which is living on your own.

We all know that everyone goes through high school and college. We can compare that college is much more challenging and complex than high school. This is a higher level of learning, thus, requiring more time, effort as well as devotion to studies. Even though college is very tiring at times, I still believe that college is much more enjoyable and exciting. To have that kind of freedom in your schedule is very rewarding; however, proper judgment is a must since we are all mature students now.

Graduating from high school is what every student is looking forward to. However, going to college is a big accomplishment for all students. The first day of freshman high school and college feels the same, the excitement and pressured. As many students experienced, both high school and college could be compared their similarities. First, both students in college and high school are expected to behave in well mannered, attend to every class on time, and respect the teachers or professors. Second, being prepared in class is needed for the success whether the students are in high school or college. Third, high school and college allow the students to figure out and pursue their career. In contrary, high school and college have a lot of differences to each other. Unlike high school, students in college can choose a college they would prefer, they can manage their own time, and students be able to learn how to balance their responsibilities and priorities.

My undergraduate degree is finally complete and I can finally move on to graduate school. What is graduate school going to be like? What should I expect from graduate school? Those are both good questions and I have thoughts on both of them. One thing that is for sure, I am excited about starting graduate school and can't wait to begin. I am so glad I found the educational administration program at UTPB.

Although education has no price, the finances for learning are hefty. Various students view high school differently, however, it provides monetary beliefs such as providing free education. Nevertheless, the free education can only come with enrollment. Enrollment into a public high school disregards tuition fees and economic backgrounds of all students. David Grant, author of the article “How is College Different from High School”, states “High school is mandatory and usually free” (Grant 8). In addition to being free and required, criminal charges may be indicted against responsible guardians if one fails to enroll. While in high school attendance is required, college enrollment is not mandatory and is more expensive to attend. Even after

When I attended college, I had the opportunity to become more independent and to take on new responsibilities. I have always relied on my parents for support, but at college I was on my own and I had to strive harder. College had taught me that it will help me to become more mature and will help me grow in my character. Right now, I have an accurate idea concerning what I want to do with my life. I am currently a full-time student in the pursuit of becoming an Accountant.

Most college students make college very easy. A person really have to be on their A game when it comes to college. When it comes to college it is to get good grades, hard work, and achievements that anybody accomplishes. Every teacher in college expects a student to be about their business. College makes a lot of students responsible for what they do in college or what not. One thing about college is that teachers are trying to prepare students for the real life.

College have limited guidelines students have to obey. With less rules the students fulfilled their needs to do things they'll never do at home. For instance, students can go to limited parties, they have no curfew, and maybe try drugs. In fact, they have their own choice to make. Additionally, students can adopt to not going to class, leaving their dorm late at night, or just hanging with the wring crowed. Parents are not there to hold their kids hands. First year students are not used to having freedom; having someone telling them what to do. Students attend to take advantage of that

College is a big step in one's life, you are no longer bound to the regimented days of high school where a simple sound dictates when it's time to leave and arrive in class, when it's time to eat, and when it's time to go home. The high school bell holds a God like control over each student's life while they are in school, disregard the bell and one finds themselves in detention sitting in silence regretting not doing what the bell signaled them to do. College on the other hand is a completely different story, the only bell you have to follow is the one you ring for yourself.
