Today’s society is more affected by technology than it ever has been and it is changing every second of every day. Advancements in technology have been changing our culture and society for hundreds of years; from hunters and gatherers to information overload to a future of the most advanced technologies we could imagine. Technology has been around for not so long and in that short amount of time we have been able to do amazing things and advance the human race into the future. Such as getting us to the moon ,computers like never before seen, and now we have our own personal computer in the palm of our hands. Being able to be in a car and not have to drive it or even park it. Imagine living in a world that everything was being done by robots? Would it be better or worse ? socially & economically? if we automate everything we would be taking away all the things that make us human.

Have you ever noticed how much technology has changed from time ? I think that the changes of technology affect are living because of the way wecommunicate with people , how simple it is to finish tasks , by how creative we can be , and how effortless it is to travel with you . Life is impacted by technology and is changed to fit us .

Technology has changed humongous amount over the years. Today, we are almost based solely on technology. Think about it, almost everything we do involve technology like papers, dictionaries, applications everything we do includes it and there is no way to get around it. As more and more gadgets come out life becomes simpler and technology becomes more important every day. Without technology we would be a completely different society.

Communication used to be relatively limited. At one point, a person could only talk to somebody else in person or send them a written letter. Nowadays, somebody can send somebody else a moving picture with words written on top of it asking them a question, and this message might only be viewable within a certain amount of time, and the message might be one part of many other messages with all sorts of other visually communicative features. Technology is what took communication to where it is today. Technology gave us the power to communicate with anybody anywhere at any time with mobile devices. Technology then evolved to change communication itself. Ideas that once could only be communicated with words can now be expressed through all kinds of different media.

As for today, technology has become reachable to everyone. Materials, machines, software, systems, tools and even ideas can be shared and spared. The access to technology lets new generations creates better idea to apply in daily lives, easily. These ideas were then shaped for many purposes including what is visible today. Technology has made a big difference in our society such as communication, work, education, and entertainment in good and bad ways. Some people say that technology has made life better with the internet, cell phones and other devices. While others say technology has been making life worse because people are becoming lazy and replace their lives with technology every day.         Technology is advancing at an alarming rate and with these advancements follow many conveniences in modern society. Technology is changing the way people go about their everyday lives. With these advancements in technology most people would agree that their happiness in some ways is affected. This can be supported by the fact that technologies provide people with more opportunities throughout their lifetimes. However can it be supported that technology and happiness correlate? When a father who works as a Seattle Times staff member asked his daughter the simple question, does technology make you happy? She responded, “No. I take it for granted — like breathing. It just is.” She goes on to say, “I’m unhappy when it doesn’t work … when my cellphone battery’s dead and when the Internet is not working,”(staff, par. 7-9). Many adolescents are heavily impacted by the availability and advancements of technology. How is technology impacting the happiness levels of youth? To understand the concept of technology affecting human emotions we must first clarify the meaning of happiness.

With the advancements in technology we have been able to accomplish a lot more in life, but in the end there is an argument whether or not these advancements have been positive or negative. Society has become so dependent on technology and its ability to conquer everyday task that some people believe we have became stupid and lazy. However, I feel that that our success in developing technology is a positive thing. We have been able to achieve many accomplishments because of these technologies.

When thinking about the current society we live in, the conversation would be incomplete if the rise of technology was not mentioned. Technology can be seen in every aspect of society. Whether it is for the professional workplace, or in the social interactions between children and teenagers, technology rules everything people do. The consequence of technology can be both positive and negative, but there is no denying that it has had a profound impact on society as a whole.
