Introduction to News Writing
The shows are much of entertaining and informing; with reference to the “The Daily Show” by Trevor Noah and “Saturday Night Live” by Lorne Michaels.
Journalism as a discipline incorporates the collection, analysis, verification and news presentation on current events, the trends, issues and the people. These are all performed by journalists. According to Denis Mc. Quails, journalism is paid writing relating to public media in reference to actual and developing events of public relevance.

 Collecting and editing of presentation news through the media
 Public press
 Writing featuring direct presentation of facts or description of events without any attempt of interpretation.

Whenever one is looking at a source of information, they should observe various things to ascertain that the information is credible. These things are the source's authority, currency, accuracy, and coverage objectivity.
On bloggers, few attempt to find the solid facts or remove personal opinions from their stories. They hardly seek balance or make enough contact with the sources before they write their articles. Most of these blogs are richly biased. On the other hand, journalists do their best to remove every form of bias as much as they can. They are different from bloggers and very much professionally trained.
Pundits on the other hand offer their commentaries or opinions to mass media on particular areas such as analysis in social sciences, technology, politics or sports. A pundit needs to be knowledgeable on a specific area or subject or be a scholar in the particular field; to be able to express opinions and ideas publicly. According to the “Journalist’s role”, bloggers and pundits have been taking the role of journalists with their real time updates and thus transforming the way the public expect in terms of news and coverage of events.
