In Community Tool Box it states “Conflict resolution is a way for two or more parties to find a peaceful solution to a disagreement among them. The disagreement may be personal, financial, political, or emotional.”
When it comes to conflict resolution I’ve been able to handle the situation both in a positive way and also in a negative way. For instance, when I was in middle school I had an argument with one of my friends. My friend was yelling at me and was saying bad words to me but instead of me answering her back the same way I decided to walk away and let her keeping saying whatever she was saying to me. Once I had given her some time I then approached her and I had her sit down with me and just talked in a calm manner about the situation. I listened to her side of the story and then I told her my side and then we both came to a solution to our argument without having argue with her once again.
