The OIG complaint references past successful awards to GLS. This is correct. Changes in contracting have occurred with NRCS during the past 18 months to ensure adequate oversight and adherence to national laws and policy. Contracts and agreements are processed through a national delivery service team and it is my observation that many of the items we were comfortable with in North Dakota now have more requirements and levels of quality review.

Contract monitoring is the systematic review of a contractor’s records, activities, etc. to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract (Texas HHSC 2015). Because privatization aims to provide the government with the best value in terms of quality, service, and conditions, contracting does not end after the procurement process (Schooner 2011, 3). The administration of the contract, including monitoring, is just as important to ensuring that the state gets the best value. Despite the fact that there is a clear contract monitoring process within HHS, time is not always invested into developing a comprehensive monitoring approach and funds are not always allocated towards that process, preventing agencies

I'm harassed daily at Pitt University, Greensburg under the Hands of William Bill Franicola. These employees know they can get away with their action of laughing in our faces, slurs, hand gestures and comments Mr. Franicola is present letting this behavior continue. Nothing is confiding at Pitt after Joe told me he was keeping an eye on Bob Godzik, outside the pole building Donna Myers, Vicki Hoak is pointing there two fingers at Bob saying they are keeping their eyes on you then moving their fingers towards their eyes. They did the same Hand gestures to Dan Kelly when Bob Godzik was present in the office. When Joe changed my work area to Cassel Hall due to harassment from Bob and Julie Godzik after the change there was several anti-Bullying
In regards to OIG Hotline Complaint PS-1001-0294, I have reviewed all the documents that were emailed to me. The impetus for this complaint was a determination of “Not Responsible” for solicitation AG-6633-S-0003. This solicitation was made by Grazing Land Solutions LLC (GLS), Dennis Froemke Owner/CEO to conduct grazing land inventories.
I called Sara to ask her about Cristy visitation plan. She said that in the last week of February, her son's foster parent came to the CW Office to let them know cannot longer be the foster parent.
The OIG Representative testified that she is a Claims Investigation Agent for the Office of Inspector General. Her office is responsible to investigate claims of SNAP trafficking that are referred to the OIG by the USDA-FNS. The OIG Representative testified that the OIG received information from the USDA FNS that P & C Deli was disqualified for involvement in SNAP trafficking. Exhibit C-3 was identified as the USDA Declaration of Completeness of Record, completed by the USDA FNS Section Chief, which indicates that the store was disqualified from participation in the SNAP program effective April 23,
Interobserver agreement. Two primary observers and a reliability observer were trained individually on how to conduct IOA. Primary observers each completed 1 observation per day on each of the 8 participants and their direct-care staff, which combined totaled 960 observations. The reliability observer conducted 240 evenly spaced observations, 1 observation every other day per participant to direct-care staff ratio, which totaled to 80 observations during each of the observations at baseline and during intervention. The number of times the observers agreed or disagreed was tallied. Using interval-by-interval, all data were calculated by diving the number of agreements by the number of agreements plus disagreements, and multiplying by 100.
I choose to do my observation of society on August 23, 2015, at Kerr-Drummond because it seemed to be the busiest place on campus at the time. I began my experiment at 1:15 p.m. and ended my observation at 1:25 p.m. At first I did feel out of place doing nothing because it seemed like I did not have a purpose, however, I did not let it inhibit me from my research. Almost as soon as I had begun, a woman wearing an orange OSU shirt and shorts sneezed twice without covering her mouth. I felt semi-relieved that she was a little ways away from me and that the wind was blowing away from me as well. Unfortunately, the wind changed directions which then caused me to feel a little uneasy. After she had walked away, a male and a female who seemed to
Throughout my time spent on this project, the method that I used to obtain the information I received was through covert observation. Although at the beginning, I did not know that what I was doing at the time, I could not have used another method to obtain the findings than covert observations. I know this because, when I went to observe one time for at least a hour, I tried to get involved in had what happened to one of employees named Larissa who took a drive-thru and was treated very rudely by the customer, who refused to accept that there was not a student discount. At the end, she handed out what the customer had ordered and threw their straw wrapper at her and drove off. When I observed this, I was hesitant to speak up and try to
My first day of observations had finally arrived. Filled with excitement, I opened the doors to Pleasant Ridge Elementary School, and walked into the front office to sign in as a guest for the day. I made my way to the second grade wing to do my first observation for my field experience report. The second grade instructor greeted me as I entered her classroom, with a big bright smile I found made her classroom warm and inviting.
My practicum took place on September 7,2016 from nine thirty to ten thirty. The practicum took place at Impact Early College High School in Baytown. The class I observed was Ms. Nguyen’s class of juniors and seniors that contained twenty students, seven boys and thirteen girls. The class appeared to be alert and ready to learn. Since this was their second period class they already had enough time to shake off their fatigue. The subject was Pre-Calculous and the topic was operations of functions. Students entered the classroom in a calm manner and socialized until it was time to start class. The teacher instructed the students to take their seats and take five minutes to write their assignments into their academic calendar. The teacher went
Company Star Boat employed Tom as the manager for marketing and sales department. Being an agent for Star Boat, Tom frequently concluded contracts with a number of suppliers for acquiring certain parts to manufacture boats. Smooth Sailing was one of the suppliers. Tom resigned from Star Boat in July 2012 upon being offered a better position in Star Ferry. However, he acquired 4,000 parts from Smooth Sailing in August and manager of Smooth Sailing did not notice that in the contract Tom indicated his signature as “manager, Star Ferry” and thought they were dealing with Star Boat as usual. When Smooth Sailing later notified Star Boat to make payment, Star Boat wanted to ratify the contract.
