It is 1987 and the brand new Cool Croc's Pizzeria just opened for business. Two young men, Ethan and Jayce, are excited for their first job as night guard. When they were young boys, they loved eating pizza and watching the animatronics sing on stage. Now was their chance to relive their memories. After Ethan and Jayce graduated, they decided to save money and share an apartment together. They had been best-friends since middle school and now they had gotten their first job. They both decided to sleep, then wake up at 10:45 p.m. and get ready for their first night on the job. As they arrived at Cool Croc's Pizzeria , they both thought it would be a piece of cake, so they didn't experience the normal first day jitters. The place was so big that they had to work in separate rooms. Ethan …show more content…
Upon arriving, they both got another recording again and listened to the message. There was nothing new to the message except that there were two new animatronics added. Ethan and Jayce socialized through their walkie-talkies from their security rooms, where they see the different cameras on a screen . Jayce decides to check his cameras and notices one of the animatronics is missing and starts to panic. Being as loud as he was, Ethan ran from his security room to Jayce's security room, after hearing Jayce's hysterical voice. After Jayce told him, Ethan decides to check the camera for himself and noticed it was gone. They both checked the other cameras to see if the missing animatronic was in any of the other rooms. The animatronic that moved wasn't in any of the rooms from the view of the cameras. As Jayce decided to physically check, he walks out of the room seeing a robber stealing the missing animatronic. Jayce tackled the robber while Ethan called the cops. After the cops arrived quickly and arrested the robber, Jayce and Ethan were so relieved to see that the clock hit 6:00 a.m. and their shift was
Barry couldn't believe that it was morning already, he went to sleep at 1 a.m because he stayed up binge watching his favorite show.“Barry wake up, it's 7:30!” Diana yelled as she rushed into her son's room. “Mom! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?, it's the first day of school!” was what came out Barry’s mouth although he knew that it was his fault like always. Barry stared at his alarm clock, which was completely silent, no noise or numbers reflecting off the screen to let Barry know that it was time to get ready for his first day of middle school. The day brightened considerably, the shadows were stretching in the opposite direction from what Barry had seen yesterday in his first day in New York. His father, Daniel, and Diana rush into the car since it was Daniel’s first day as well, at his new job in the famous World Trade Center. "Ready for your big day today champ?”, Barry didn't answer because of the memories that rushed through his brain of all his friends, teachers, and his grandpa.
Sarah Adams article “Be Cool to the Pizza Dude” addresses how we can remember to be kind towards others. She explains “Sometimes when I have become so certain of my ownership of my lane, daring anyone to challenge me, the pizza dude speeds by me in his rusted Chevette. His pizza light atop his car glowing like a beacon reminds me to check myself as I flow through the world.” Likewise, we must remember that we share a planet, we like to believe that we are the center of the universe. David Wallace Foster demonstrates how this is our default setting, he states “We rarely talk about this sort of natural, basic self-centredness, because it's so socially repulsive, but it's pretty much the same for all of us, deep down. It is our default setting, hard-wired into our boards at birth.” Adams recognizes her own default setting, her article reveals that when she becomes too certain
Based on the article it shows Perfect Pizzeria is a normal company. The company has a basic structure for the employees like any other company. They have store manager, shift manager, and workers to do labor like making pizza, cleaning dishes, cashier and more.
“The children in Stamps trembled visibly with anticipation. Some adults were excited too, but to be certain the whole young population had come down with graduation epidemic.” Maya was so excited that Friday morning she stated: “I hoped the memory of that morning would never leave me.” Her parents closed their store the day of the graduation with a
In order to analyze the delivery factor, we divided the stores into those that had the service and those that did not. We then compared the profitability of the stores with and without delivery service (Table 6.) On average, the stores with delivery earned more profit than stores without delivery – this is true whether making comparisons using the means or medians for profit. There is

Malessica giggled taking a bite out of her pizza. Isaac continued to eat his slice of pizza, starting to think about the night before. Though he was in a crowded environment, he couldn’t help but shake the feeling that he wasn’t completely safe. Malessica noticed that Gerard had been taking a while to find them, taking out her cell phone. Calling Gerard’s phone, she heard it ring a few times before it went to voicemail. Something was completely off, which started to worry her somewhat. Isaac remained deep in thought, before hearing Malessica call his name.
Consider the situation where the manager changed the time period required to receive free food and drink from 6 to 12 hours of work. Try to apply each of the motivational approaches to explain what happened. Which of the approaches offers the most appropriate explanation? Why?
Sarah Adams, the author of the article, "Be Cool to the Pizza Dude" expressed a philosophy through pizza delivery dudes. For the first principle, the situations that the author talked about also happen to me a lot. One time, I was trying to do some changes on my phone account. I decided to do these changes through the phone, because I thought this was a more convenient way. However, the result totally changed my mind. I called the customer service first, and told them what I need for help with. They told me first that I need to call another number for problems. After that, I called five different numbers in that day, and it took almost forty minutes. My problems were still not solved at the end. I even recognized the same voice for few
“Hi, welcome to CiCi’s!” This is the warm greeting that every CiCi’s employee will welcome every customer with when they walk through the door. This warm welcome is just one of the many things that CiCi’s does to exceed the customer service expectations that come with a buffet style restaurant. With competition lurking, and the economy pinching, great customer service has become a premium. This is why CiCi’s focuses so much on the customer’s wants and needs. The mission statement
It was a dark and gloomy night, and the rain was coming down. Veronica and Pete crept up to the lab to practice their Meteorological studies for their final report for school; Their grade depended on it. Pete couldn't type their paper on it because he suffered from arthritic conditions, so Veronica had to do all the typing. Pete was always angry because he wanted to fly away from all the subordinates that were in control of him; he was very qualm because of it. After they did their project, they drove over to Veronica's house. Veronica's family was very affluent, and had very expensive cars, while Pete drove a flivver. They felt very assuaged to have finished their report in such short time. Pete had such knobby hands from the arthritis that
Jacy shakes her head saying, "Then who ta-ta-apped on my sho-sho-shoulder. Why would my brain ever want to fo-fo-fool me?" As they talked with Jacy, she felt a soft, pokey fur on her neck. So she jumps up and screams like she saw her idol. They turned around, and there was nothing there. She looks around saying, "We have not even spent 1 night and I have already freaked out. I don't think I can do this for a whole week." They all try to calm her down. After Jacy was calm, they went to get their bags from the front porch. They all decided to sleep in the living room with each other, even though there were 6 rooms. They unpacked, ate, and talked for a while until they felt sleepy. Everyone fell asleep around 10:00 pm. One night was down, but
Exhibits 6, 8, 9, and 10 provide a great deal of information to TruEarth Pizza, including several necessary areas of continuing product development. Creating more appealing varieties and finding a way to increase the convenience factor, for example, would be excellent ways to improve customer response to the product. There are other, more distressing problems that suggest the entire model might be flawed and ultimately unprofitable: two of the most substantial dislikes of the
Perfect pizzeria is staffed primarily from college and high school students; however, when hiring for management positions there is no systematic criteria in which to select the best-qualified person for the job. Those currently occupying leadership positions do so without the proper leadership training or experience to handle the open communication required to build team cohesion in a food franchise environment.
Pronto Pizza is a family-owned pizza restaurant in Vinemont, a small town of 20,000 people in upstate New York. Antonio Scapelli started the business 30 years ago as Antonio 's Restaurant with just a few thousand dollars. Antonio, his wife, and their children, most of whom are now grown, operate the business. Several years ago, one of Antonio 's sons, Tony, Jr., graduated from NYU with an undergraduate degree in business administration. After graduation, he came back to manage the family business. Pronto Pizza was one of the earliest pizza restaurants to offer pizza delivery to homes. Fortunately, Tony had the foresight to make this business decision a few years ago. At the same time, he changed the restaurant 's name from Antonio 's to
