The new wage increases begin with the December 24, 2017 pay period and will be reflected on the January 12, 2018 paycheck. You will receive letters to your home with more information regarding the wage increases during the week of December 24, 2017. I believe this is a fair pay increase due to the amount of quality work he has done his last evaluation period. He leads the office in citations, arrests, and DUI cases. He also very rarely misses a day of work and helps other shifts out with coverage.
That is until 08/2015 when I was given a raise for $.50 then an additional $.50 in 09/2015 after additional consideration. It was also stated that I would be paid extra when you were not in the office.

Increasing the wage for all employees will cost a lot of money for employers. Business will be faced with two decisions, either “raise their prices”, or “simply cut employees or reduce benefits” (Williams). If they choose to raise up prices, then there will be no benefit for the increase of wage. Employees will get an increase in wage, but so is prices of almost everything. And if businesses choose to cut employees and benefits, then the number of unemployment could possibly arise, and the benefits such as paid vacations and PTO, can be easily get demolished.
