“There it is” Alex said. They were standing in front of the old, abandoned house four miles out of town. Also four hours past alex’s curfew, but he didn't care he just wanted to show his brother he never backed down from a dare.
Alex was with his two and only friends, Aaron and Ethan. Ethan is very tall and has short, black hair. I always joked around and said he was like a monkey because of the way he acted and how tangled his hair was. Aaron on the other hand is the exact opposite, he is short and has long hair that sticks straight up and he loves to talk about scary stuff.
Alex walked up to the doorstep and jokingly said, “is anybody home?” “ha-ha very funny” Ethan said. Meanwhile, Aaron was trembling with excitement. “Come on ethan cheer up a little it's not that bad, lets just get this over with” he said. Alex twisted the doorknob but it wouldn’t budge. “Of course it's locked” Alex said. “Now what do we do” Ethan said. “We find a new way in.” they all split up and searched around the yard until Aaron yelled, “found it!”. They ran to Aaron and saw an old storm cellar door that looked so old that if you just pulled the handles it would come right off.
“So… are you going to open it?” Aaron said. “Well are you guys ready?” Alex said. “I was born ready”. Alex pulled back on the and it slowly opened up to reveal a smell of mold and mildew. They started to cough and gag, “that is disgusting” Ethan said. “I hope you guys brought a flashlight and stop complaining the smell
“I don’t feel good,” exclaimed the auburned haired girl with the tomboy look and ragged denim jacket. “I don't feel good at all. Where is my dog anyways? He should have been home half an hour ago” She looked around to hopefully find a trace of where her speckled, droopy eared beagle went and then she saw it, a huge contraption about a foot and half taller than ten feet. She ran to PawPaw and said in excitement “what is that huge thing in the barn?”
They drove the car to a local gas station called”Valero Corner Stone” to fill up some gas.As they went inside Jack grabbed the phone and called one of his friends.
It was a cold rainy night. Mrs. Fester was making supper for her three kids in their desolate kitchen. Victor, Elizabeth, and Matilda were gathered by the fireplace watching television.“ Supper's ready,” yelled Mrs. Fester. The kids came running into the kitchen. When they sat down their mother started to cry. She had just found out that Mr. Fester had died. She didn’t know how she was going to tell her kids. “What’s wrong mother,” said Victor. “Kids I know this is hard, but your father was coming home from work and he couldn’t see very well because of the rain. He thought he would pull over to the side of the road, so he could wait for the rain to stop. When he started to pull over he didn’t realize he was pulling over to where another
"Ha! Gotcha now, doll!" Byron had dropped Jill off at Charles' place, to pursue her. He was gaining on CJ; so much that he could see her dashboard. He tapped her bumper from behind, and latched onto it. They were attached for miles. CJ steered her car into the rural area of town. She geared it in reverse and jumped out the door. Byron was thrown through his back windshield. She ran from both vehicles, as far as possible. Byron was after her; he couldn't allow her to live with the truth. It was a brick wall; she was trapped.
“They’re probably around somewhere. “No.” She shook her head. “They’ve been missing for at least a half an hour. I thought they were climbing the hill…”Then we all froze. You can hear someone yelling. It sounded like it was coming from the church. “I’ll get them, don't worry!” I started running , a man caught my arm. “I'll get them, You kids stay out.” I jerked loose and ran on. All I could think about was that we started it. I through a rock at the window and pulled myself in. I took a deep breath and started coughing. “Where’s the kids?” “In the back I guess?” I hollered, we started stumbling through the church. The cinders and embers began falling on us. We pushed open the door to the back room and found four or five little kids, about eight or younger, huddled in a corner. One was screaming his head off, and Johnny yelled, “Shut up! We’re going to get you out!” He looked over his shoulder and saw that the door was blocked by flames, then we pushed open the window and tossed out the nearest kid. I picked up a kid and he bit me, but I leaned out the window and dropped him as gently as I could. I could hear Dally screaming at us. I picked up kids as fast as I could. The Roof was falling, I heard abruptly “Get out!”.
Stepping out onto her small porch Laurel placed her hands her hands at her hips, head turning from side to side, to gaze at the city. Everything looked so peaceful, it was hard to believe that sooner or later everything would change, war was on the horizon whether they like it or not. She muttered out a sigh as she reached her hand up to rub at her forehead. She blinked a few times when she caught sight of Cain. “Here goes nothing.” She mumbled to herself as she walked down the small steps. She met Cain at the gates, a slight smile played at her lips. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure to keep everything in check. I won’t allow anyone to blow anything up.” She stated with a slight nod of her head. Her right hand fell to rest atop her gun, “Make sure you don’t kill anyone else Cain. If we want to win this war we are going to need the numbers.” She muttered out in a soft voice, a hint of announce could be heard.
As the four boys started to trickle into the house they could all sense and uneasy feeling; however, they ignored it and kept going deeper and deeper into the house. In the process of walking into the spooky home, they started to notice that they have been walking for a really long time. “Guys we have been walking into this house for ten minutes, don’t you think we should turn around, something about this house just doesn’t feel right.” Phil says panicky.
Carol walked down the street holding her boyfriend, Henry's hand. As they walked Carol turned to Henry, "I need a jacket for the music festival." " Let's go to that vintage store over there," she said pointing to the store on the corner. "Okay, it looks a little creepy though", he hesitantly sighed. They walked across the street to the store. The sign above the store read "Dare For More". Then, a woman walked out with a bag that appeared empty. The door screeched shut, then screeched open as Carol grabbed it. The couple walked around for a while looking at things that looked over used. They stopped at an old dusty box that appeared as if it had not been touched in years.
"This is no time to joke around." As they got deeper into the tunnel, they saw a light. They ran. Kathy pushed the stroller so fast the rabbit was against the back of it. They ran out of the tunnel and saw Adam talking to someone outside. The kids realized that they were home as their eyes adjusted to the light. Adam was talking to his Mom! She invited them all to dinner. She let the bunny inside of the house,
Harry had stopped at this old, run down house and said that we were here. Victoria and I both looked at each other kind of funny. “Harry, is this really Melissa’s house or are you tricking us?” He said that we wasn't kidding and that Melissa had lived here her entire life. Harry dropped us off and we thanked him for bringing us to Melissa’s house. We got out of the bright yellow car and closed the doors and he was gone in a blink of an eye. “I have never seen a car go that fast before,” said Victoria, “Me either,” I replied. Victoria and I were alarmed that Melissa’s house was in such bad shape, the grass was up to my knees, the siding on her house was falling off, and the front porch looked like if you stepped on it, it would break. We was worried that Melissa had never lived here and probably never even been here, but that was not going to stop us! We now were on the front porch, we knocked on the door and tried to open up the door but the door wouldn’t open. We walked around back to see if there was a back door or window that we could crawl in. There was an open window on the left side of the house. I helped Victoria in first, then she helped me
Mikal sat across from Tracy, one of the Golden Heart’s analysts. He fixated on her stale, boxed-in office, the simulated wavy fields, the dark forest behind it, a sunset steeped in crimson clouds, the sounds of birds migrating—all of it tracing their way behind her and around the office. Centering on Tracy’s face, she crinkled her pink neon lit lips into a smile and tapped her glowing neon pink nails upon her metal desk.
It was saturday night, 1963 in England. Dakota Korte was looking for a place to stay that was cheap but also nice. He was in England for his aunt Martha who had gotten stomach cancer, but he had spent so much money on his trip here that he barely had enough to stay at any other places. While he was walking looking for some other options to stay a big sign in a window caught his eye, it said in big bold letters “BED AND BREAKFAST”. Before he got to the door to knock on it, the landlady had already come outside. He thought it was kind of odd she knew he was about to come in but he hadn’t even turned to walk up her steps. This was the only option he had and it was getting late so he took up her offer of a cheap price and let the women greet him inside.
behind the glass windows of the shop across the street, urging him to go through with the dare, still remain in my head. "I picked the lock of the door, and I quickly sat down. Just as I was about to drive off the policeman arrived." Alex was order to put his hands where the police officer could see them. Of course, at this point Alex found himself with out any friends in sight.
The girl trudges down the lonely stretch of road, the shoulder straps of her backpack cutting into her shoulders and the blue plastic cooler she pulls behind her straining her muscles. Ugh, why did she have to be such an obedient daughter? Of course, she didn’t want to be rude and say, “Bring a bunch of food to grandma who lives all the way across town when we don’t have a car? Screw that!”, because she would never do that, but she was starting to regret not being a bit more persistent against going.
Feeling something small nick your cheek, you fade back into the almost empty restaurant. The group B.A.P surrounds you in laughter. Another hit lands near your eye, you scan the small crowded table. Zelo. Bored and searching for trouble, he finishes loading the straw with paper bullets, aiming at you. Knowing no one is paying any attention you pretend to slice your neck, signaling for him to quit or he's dead meat. He simply points the straw toward DaeHyun. A devious smile growing.
