Creative Writing: Liz Frog

Decent Essays

Elizabeth “Liz” Frog was a great and kind person. In her 102 years of living on Earth, she didn’t have any enemies. The only thing Liz did was help and care for others. When the neighborhood found out she passed away in her sleep, we were in tears. I remember when Ernest and Tobias were arguing about who cheated in checkers, and Liz settled the whole thing by giving them her famous fly pie and having them start the game over. But, sometimes she could be a LITTLE extreme. Once she made 2 young toads clean her lily pad house along with catching frogs for her. Liz assumed that this helped the boys and weirdly it did. She gave them both a stern talking to and made them do some work around the house for her. Ever since the boys haven’t been arguing or fighting. OH, MY GOODNESS!!! EVERY TIME I THINK OF LIZ I JUST GET SO EMOTIONAL!!!! LIZ! LIZ!!!! Everywhere she went, she helped people. Elizabeth could be a little bold while helping people but in her mind, she still called what she did “helping”. When we would be in church, she would gossip about everyone with me but, she didn’t mean any harm. I would know I am her best and closest friend. Where ever I went, she went too. Liz would gossip and be serious about what she was saying along with being funny at the same time. While we were at the “Fly Buffet” we saw Mrs. Horton and noticed how “brand new” she was acting. Liz talked about Sonya like a DOG… What she said was hilarious, it so funny that my lily water came out my nose! I would tell you what she said, but that’s not my place. The only thing I can say is that Liz roasted Sonya’s “designer” lizard purse, but you didn’t hear that from me. If any of you bumpy necked amphibians have anything to say about me, Iris Toadser or my best friend, Elizabeth Frog, please come say it to my face you can kindly address it
