It was unclear what exactly woke up the small elf, maybe the unfamiliar sounds of horse hooves against the ground, maybe the bright sunlight shining through the sparse forest, maybe the motions of the carriage from the uneven terrain, or some divine forsaken mixture of the three. When she attempted raising her arms to shield her eyes from the harsh light, she discovered that they had been bound together, and rather tightly at that. 'Great,' she thought to herself.
While struggling to sit up, she noted that her armour and bow were no where in sight. 'Even better .'
"Hey you, you’re finally awake."
She glanced up, just now noticing that there were others there as well. 'My observation skills are seriously lacking today."
The man across from

I’m... I'm from Rorikstead." The horse thief said in a defeated voice.
As the gate in front of them opened to a seemingly small city, a legion soldier cut off whatever response the blonde had to about Rorikstead.
"General Tulius sir! The headsman is waiting." Suspicions confirmed. They had indeed been heading toward their deaths at the hands of the empire. The cowardly thief began asking, no, begging the divines to help him. Hopefully, he would be the first to die because she did not want the last thing she heard to be him crying.
They passed the man she assumed was the general as his started at them with a smug smile. She could practically feel the anger and hatred coming from Ulfric and the

General Tulius, the Military. And it looks like the Thalmar are with him; damn elves, I bet they had something to do with this. This is Helgen... I used to be sweet on a girl from here. I wonder if Velod is still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in..." His voice suddenly became soft and pensive. "Funny, when I was a boy, Imperial walls and towers used to make me feel so safe.."
The town was almost silent as the entered. A young boy questioned his dad about what was happening before being quickly shooed into his house by his father.
The wagon came to a stop and a captain ordered them to get out. The horse thief panicked, asking why they stopped. He was either as dumb as a horker or so afraid his mind gave up on him, maybe both.
"Why do you think? End of the line. Let’s go, we shouldn’t keep the gods waiting for us."
They existed the cart as he began begging and pleading with the captain. "No! Wait! We're not rebels!"
"Face your death with some courage, thief." Finally someone said it. He turned towards the blonde and began begging him now; he was getting more pathetic by the second. "You’ve got to tell them we weren’t With you! this is a mistake!" The rest of us remained silent to his
“I want to know where they are and how many men are coming. Find out, and don’t fail me again,” He replied sternly. “In the meantime, what’s our plan from here?”
“Gather up everybody, and tell them to meet us at the base. I am going to go grab a quick cup of coffee. Do you want a glass?”
One day while Laura and Carmilla were scavenging to find food a group of the soldiers said,” You have been wandering and asking for food, the king will not allow that to happen.,”
“That’s enough out of everyone and since we must continue, I suggest we continue in silence.”
"Your life continues because you have been spared the mines. You are given food and shelter in exchange for laurels in the arena. Do not forget that. And do not raise your weapon to any of the men in jest. One day you could be fighting with him at your back, to find your only ally would see you dead just as readily as your opponent," Livia coldly reminded him. Her cheeks were a bit flushed from anger though it could easily be dismissed as the heat of the morning sun, or the honeyed wine she drank from in a polished
“Wha…” (Y/n) gulped edging away from him. Although never having met him before personally, she knew of him. Every who was not living under a rock knew of the notorious Kiheitai commander.
“Bring in the reserves!” Brocuse ordered feebly, leaning heavily against his soldiers. One of his men nodded and brought up a magical receiver to send a message, but another warrior dashed into the ruins of the castle, screaming.
The muscles in her face stiffened. When she spoke, she’d lost the lift in her voice. “No one is following me.”
“Anything you smell is coming from you, and must be whiskey.” Locking his truck, he went toward the building and asked, “Where are you going?”
“No, but the crew is making the final preparations as we speak with the remaining supplies brought aboard shortly. Soldiers have been carrying supplies down to the hold all morning, and I suspect we will set sail within the hour.”
“You knights and the king’ll stop this Morgane and her men, won’t you?” she asked Perceval as she packed. “Everyone’s right terrified. And it’s not just them! One of my girls saw those men from the Highlands… scary looking dressed in furs and with drawing on their bodies.”
“Sir, don’t you realize who that is? That is Lord Nightburn, the leader of the Order of Vilgoth.”
“Nelaros was the only one who wanted to help me get them back as the others in the Alienage felt it would make things worse if we interfered. Armed with old cast off weapons, we broke into the palace and separated. I found where they kept Tabris and a few of the others. I let her take care of the guards while I escorted the remaining bridesmaids back out to safety, one had already been killed. Then I went back.” Soris slammed a fist against the bars making them ring. “I went back following the bodies of the dead guards and…” He choked unable to
“Help!” A woman’s desperate cry pierced the trees to his left. Macduff wasn’t blind to the traps that thieves set up along the roads, so he
A bright shaft of light pierced through the slim crack in the opening of a small tent, causing the girl inside turn her face away. Dawn had arrived and the girl knew that she should ride, but she wanted to get as much sleep as possible. She never got enough sleep, no matter how hard she tried. Riding with a company of soldiers did not allow for many comforts and sleep certainly was not one of them.
