The empty lot located on the corner of Church Street and Mill Street should be used to develop a three-story grocery store because it would continue to promote mixed land use in Downtown Orangeville, it would be designed into a compact building to preserve green space, and would encourage walking in the area. There are currently only a handful of reserved spaces on campus, and the ground has yet to be broken for the construction of the parking deck. In fact, Winthrop University does not even have all the funds needed to build this parking deck.
