Cuba is in the Caribbean. It is a country that is an island. The capital is Havana. This is the largest city in cuba. Santiago de cuba is the second biggest city. The United States is about 93 miles north of Cuba. To the west is Mexico, and Jamaica is to the south. Haiti, Cayman Islands, and the Dominican Republic are also to the sounth. In the Caribbean, cuba is the largest island. It has a population of 11 million people. It has a great deal of culture, people, history, and customs. There is Spanish in this country.

The city was named in 1592 by King Philip II of Spain. To protect the city, walls and forts were built. There is three parts of the city: Old Havana, Vedado, and the newer city. The city is the main part of the Cuban Government. There is over 90 diplomatic offices and many businesses. The mayor of Havana is Marta Hernandez. Havana has a million people come a year. In 2010 there were 1,176,627 tourists. The city has a great deal of architecture, history, monuments, and culture.

The museum is in a mansion and has been since 1971. The museum use to have meeting and get-togethers. Federico Garcia Lorca, Maria Guerrero, Vicente Blasco Ibanez, Rene Dumesnil, and Eduardo Zamacois went to these. They are all famous artists. There is instruments and music from the 16th century. It goes through the present as well. The museum has works of art, instruments, musical documents, records, and original scores. Not only will people see the instrument, they can hear the music. The museum has a record library that allows anyone to listen to the music of many time periods, and they can listen to many types of music.
There is also another museum called Francisco Taquechel. It was a townhouse that was turned into a pharmacy k 1898. It was changed in 1996 to be a pharmacy and a museum. It has 19th century medical equipment. This includes French porcelain Apothecary’s jars and instruments. These were found at the center of the city. There was also a century-old French porcelain water filter. The museum actually sells many health supplies from today. There is many shelves full of this type of
