Cuba is an beautiful island with vibrant art and soul stirring music and villages. From sugar canes to playing dominoes and baseball. Sugar canes, dominoes and baseball is extremely popular in Cuba. Cuba is the 17th largest island in the world and approximately 22% of the country is protected natural areas. Cuba also has 289 beaches and 200 bays but few large rivers or inland water regions. The country has nearly 200 small rivers as well as many narrow streams that run dry in summer. Cuba is the most populous island in the Caribbean and home to over 11 million residents but France is the most visited country in the world, with over 80 million visitors every year. Some bodies of water in Cuba is the Guantánamo, Sagua de Tánamo, Toa, Mayarí, Cauto, Salado, San Pedro, Caunao, and Zaza. Cuba is a tropical place so it has no deserts. Some of Cuba mountains are Sierra Maestra (which is the tallest mountain) Sierra Cristal, Escambray Mountains and Sierra del Rosario. France is the second largest country in Europe. Beaches in France are known for their liberal attitude towards bathing attire, tans or even nudity. Some bodies of water in France are Baie de Bouéni, Choazil Passage, Dziani Dzaha and Zamburu Passage. The geography of France is highly mountainous, some of highest mountains are located in France. Some of France mountains are The Jura Mountains, Mont Blanc (which is the largest) The Pyrenees Mountains, The Alps and The Massif Mountains. The official language spoken is Spanish. Cuba’s flag is a very significant symbol to its people, Cubanos. Specifically, “the three blue stripes represent the sections the Island was divided into, the two white stripes suggest the purity of the intentions for the people’s independence, while the equilateral triangle stands for freedom, equality and fraternity, as France was once advocating as well. Salsa has a fast tempo and a rich musical energy. Salsa is highly important in Cuba. Where the highly energetic music draws in many tourists. Tourists who pack up the night clubs to watch and try their hands at dancing salsa. There are many studios that help and teach you how to dance or even sing salsa. Yes, Cuba may have beautiful beaches and many touristic stops. But if you ask many of the tourists there they will say they are there for the music, salsa. Many Cubans have also said that they hope to use music like salsa to overcome political and social differences with the United States and other countries. There are many Cuban salsa musicians. But some are Arsenio Rodríguez, Benny Moré, Bamboleo, and one of the most important, Celia Cruz. Celia Cruz was also known as the Queen of salsa music. Her voice adding a unique flavor to salsa music. Celia Crus was widely known which helped gain recognition to salsa music as well as Cuba itself.
