Let’s talk about Dan. Dan and I are scary similar, like tonight its 9:33 and I am still struggling to take a test and do my discussion. I get easily distracted and procrastinate and feel insecure about my abilities. As a learner I relate to the way it’s explain about how Dan is. My voices are a little louder than most. And what Dan and I need to work and organize of thought and behavior to be intentional leaners using our patterns working together to succeed. Dan’s scores S25, P18, TR30, C14, and mine is S18, P22, TR13, C23. Though my scores aren’t the same, I feel like they use my story and maned me Dan. In his case and mine we need to use sequence and precise and a little less confluence. And with my technical reasoning
She talked about how studying night after night was very stressful for her. I have also stressed about school work on many occasions, making me know the feeling very well. We both had to work hard to keep up or try to get ahead. “ I did not sleep during those years”(223.) I was tired and stressed out like her, even with the education we both already knew. After some time I realized I needed some help. Jordan’s help was a small study group that her roommate formed. My help was also a study group and a tutor that made me feel just about how she felt. I feel like if she had a tutor she could have felt the education earlier like how I did. “ Finally, I felt I was really learning things, really going to school.”(223.) Having that group and tutor made me feel just about how Jordan felt, not stressed anymore because we finally understood what was going on and being said. We both can reach out and defend ourselves with our own
I had the opportunity to interview Dane Brewer, the former owner of a Utah local business called Advantech. Dane now lives where I grew up in Moab, Utah. Moab, being a small town everyone is pretty tight-knit and that is how I had the opportunity to talk with Dane on the phone for this project.
The two passages, ‘’Checking In’’ and ‘Your Life : The Game’’ address the theme of turning everyday activities into games. Both have very different approaches, but have the same goal. To make people more active , and competitive. For example in passage one it talks about an app that a person can check in for points in a friendly competition. On the other passage 2 talks about a few games that are used in other ways, such as learning a new language.
|By encouraging this interactivity and by getting learners to work together, those who are stronger and more confident can assist weaker |
Bessel van der Kolk (2014) in his groundbreaking book, “The Body Keeps the Score,” explores how trauma memories are stored nonverbally in the physical body and brain. He recommends yoga as one pathway to release that somatic memory and re-establish equilibrium. Many of the benefits of art therapy are also associated with yoga. They are both experience-based, guided by intention, promote self-awareness, encourage a state of flow, activate the limbic brain, reduce stress, encourage observation rather than judgement, are adaptive, and encourage change and healing (Gibbons, 2015). Yoga stretches can be incorporated into art therapy sessions to address the large muscle movements associated with the ETC kinesthetic component and to reduce tension. Yoga can also induce a state of body-based present-moment awareness and sensory calm.
In the book Daniel's story it is the story of death, and survival, of desperation, hope, evil and also lots of love. The story is told from Daniel’s perspective as he is experiencing the atrocities of the holocaust for jews in central Europe. When the story starts, he is a fourteen year old boy, riding on a train while looking at his pictures in the photo album. Daniel uses a photograph album to spark back his memory of the events from when he was six years old until the day he and his family are forced on to a train bound for the lode of ghetto. But after spending two and a half years in ghetto, Daniel is riding on a train again, but this time to Auschwitz labor/death camp and he has a few pictures with him that tells the times when he was in ghetto. He took pictures of
This demonstrates how trying things is better than not trying; if you do you get some independence and learn the ways of critical

His Mom, elder Sister and collegiate teammates were all aglow with pride. After the numerous press conferences, Drew Sullivan was requested to see the team’s Athletic Physician for his final medical exam.

Summary The two members of my group that I chose to compare are Cecilia Valadez and Ashlyn Jackson. Cecilia Valadez’s major is construction management and she knows her way around a lot of computer applications. Unfortunately, when the time comes for her to work on electronics, she has a hard time so she looks it up on google. Ashlyn Jackson is currently majoring in engineering technology and is very good at doing research,
I'm unable to explain this to many people. I don't exactly know how to explain it myself, but I at least have the simple courage to say it to you in a text. This may seem stupid. This may seem pitiful. This may seem silly. And many of you can't even or won't begin to understand this. Some of you may know, youtubers and radio hosts, Dan Howell and Phil Lester. I am incredibly, overbearingly in love with them. I know, I'm too young, they'll never notice me, I'm just another one of those fangirls. I get it. But I'm not exactly sure you do.
Two of Aaron Beck's dysfunctional thought patterns that I fall most prey to are Polarized Thinking and Personalization. My family is from the Middle East and they have very high expectations for me. This puts a lot of stress on me because I want to make them proud and at the same time I can’t afford to make any mistakes. There have been many times where I have been disappointed at myself for getting a bad grade. Last semester I got my first C in math and I thought it was over, that I wouldn’t be able to get in to a good university, then I talked to my counselor and they told that one C wouldn’t affect me that much. I know that I am pushing myself a lot, but at end I know it’s going to pay off.
