I was about 12 years old when I started listening to his music and to this day I still enjoy his music .We all knew he would be a big Music star we all knew and loved and Michael was more than a songwriter or a dancer. When growing up you believed you could grow up to be anything. Chris Hadfield's dream was to become an astronaut. Their were two things holding him back, one he was only nine years old and two he lived in Canada. When he first knew he wanted to be an astronaut was after the Moon landing in 1969. The landing was a major value for him because that was the event that kicked this training process into motion. Chris said "Slowly, methodically, a man descended the leg of a spaceship and carefully stepped onto the surface of the Moon... Later walking back to our cottage, I looked up at the Moon... Michael Jackson's tour bus rolled up the gates at the service entrance at Madison Square Garden; it seemed as if thousands of fans were waiting in the streets and sidewalks just to get a moments glance at him, but I was one of the lucky one's who had a ticket to the show. As the gates began to open, Michael Jackson got on top of an SUV and waved to the crowd for less than five seconds, and the gates closed and he had vanished. People were literally crying in the street next to me just to because they felt that they were in the presence of a living legend.
