DC Comics started in 1934 and was created by Malcolm Wheeler. DC Comics were able to survive and continue to thrive even when there were times when they had gone through declining periods when comics books were losing interest. However, today they proved to be one of the most successful stories in the comic book industry and are a subsidiary of the Warner Brothers Entertainment . The DC Comics made a name for themselves in 1939 as they were then founded by Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson. During that time its company was known as National Allied Publications. The
The introduction of Marvel 's first superhero team, The Fantastic Four, established the company 's reputation. The majority of Marvel Comics superhero stories were written by Stan Lee. Lee and Steve Ditko generated the most successful new series in The Amazing Spider-Man. Marvel 's comics had a reputation for focusing on characterization to a greater extent than most superhero comics before them. Take for example, Iron Man.

There’s no question that the battle between comic book companies will never end. But nothing stands out more than the feud between Marvel and DC. With both companies, having their ups and downs, we can only compare whose moment is now, and whose moment is coming. With character development and storylines are too opinionated to compare, like comparing an apple with an orange, we can only judge on who’s making more money.
Both Marvel and DC have their collection of heroes and villains. The only heroes and villains that will be compared are ones with near god-like abilities. Superman is one of these god-like heroes from the DC universe. He has the ability to fly, super strength, near invincibility, super speed, and laser vision. Although he was killed in the events of Batman V Superman, he was revived in the events of Justice League. Superman could destroy tanks, planes and other enemies with relative ease. His comparative hero from the Marvel universe is Thor. Although Thor cannot fly without his hammer, he has the ability to call down lightning, super strength and immortality. Thor did lose his eye in the events of Thor: Ragnarok,
The most well known Superheroes from the DC universe are probably Batman and Superman. Many times, hardcore DC comic book fans dispute over who the better superhero is. Many like Batman for his gadgets and others for his looks, while others like Superman for his powers and abilities. I would personally say that Superman is the more capable and better Superhero.
By now we should all know the two leading Industries in superhero comics, graphic novels and blockbusters,Marvel and DC. and although both companies are great in their own ways, comic fans everywhere love to debate about which side is better. on one side fans argue DC is better because They were the original superhero company, that gave birth to some of the most iconic superheroes today, such as Batman,Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. But I say that Marvel is better because I believe superhero should be human to a certain degree In order for us, the readers/viewers to relate, they should just be normal people with exceptional powers and a moral compass. they should have basic human wants and needs and inner strengths and weaknesses

Marvel vs. DC comics is a battle that began in the early 90’s and has never ceased since. Both gaining an abundant amount of recognition from fans worldwide. From little toddlers to fully grown adults, the numbers continue to spread like wildfire. However, what are the major similarities and differences between both comics? The similarity is that, both incorporated all heroes in one setting, attempted to focus on different genres that disregarded superheroes, and started developing heroes again by adding more personal issues to the comics. For differences, Marvel was set on real world locations while those in DC were more fictional and Marvel heroes developed powers overtime while those in DC were originally born with abilities. These reasoning’s stated above, depict crucial differences between both companies while also providing their similarities which fuse them together.
The Walt Disney Company started as a small entertainment company in 1923 (Disney.com, 2011). Since that time the company has used various strategies enabling them to grow into a global entertainment company.
B. Relevance: Have any of you seen a Spider-Man movie? What about Thor or Iron Man? Very few of us in this room can say we have not seen an action packed Marvel movie at least once. Since its humble beginnings in 1939, Marvel has revolutionized not only the comic book world, but also set the bar incredibly high for all potential superhero movies. Marvel is completely relevant to the yearly cinema culture we find ourselves in the midst of, and continues to grow in popularity.
People always have debates about whether Marvel Or DC is a better and who has the better superheroes. Both comic book companies have had great superheroes, and some are better than others. The Flash and Quicksilver both have similarities but they also have many differences. A lot of factors go into deciding what makes a superhero better than another, including things like their origin story, their powers, and their villains.
But are they really? Of course not. Regardless of how great the two corporations are, a decision on who is best must be made. And it is obvious that the throne belongs to DC. Marvel is an impeccable rival; however, it needs a little work in the areas of character fluidity and getting complete international attention. All around DC is intriguing to any fan of comics who watches. The background story of the characters emotionally traps readers and viewers alike, the influence of its characters on real life people is obvious through reviews and expectations, and the audience's intake around the world is more favorable towards DC. In fact, when just searching the word “superhero” on Google, the definition states “benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers, such as Superman”. It contains the most popular and best known DC character Superman! Taking the poll outside of my own personal opinion I asked a handful of people who they felt was the better company. A middle aged woman reported that “DC has won me over because the new Batman vs Superman movie made me cry!” A peer of mine suggests that Marvel is better due to the “looks of the characters and their charisma”. However, my favorite response (maybe because I am biased) “DC is better because the connection between the viewers and the characters is real. It’s just too real.” The intake of these responses only sealed my opinion in believing that DC
When you think of a superhero one normally thinks of Spiderman, Batman, or Superman, but there were superheroes long before these characters were created. First one must understand that the basis of this name is hero. What is a hero? A hero is a person who does something special or out of the ordinary in order to help others. It could also be someone who is admired for a characteristic about them, be it physical or mental. They are individuals that normal everyday people can look up to. This being the case, a superhero is nothing more then someone who is a hero, but not just that once and for that one person, but someone who helps many people, or leads them. As time went by the number of people who were true heroes diminished and just
