Bullying could either be from an individual or a group. Bullying is formed in many different ways, one of the most common forms of bullying is verbal bullying. About seventy-seven percent of students being verbally abused from somebody in a form of a rumor, obscenity, or a derogatory term towards his/her race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. Another form of bullying that is taking over is cyberbullying. In our modern day world, technology and social media has been used to target others to lower their self-esteem or threatened them.

According to Merriam Webster Dictionary bullying means, “prone to or characterized by overbearing mistreatment and domination of others.” Bullying can be done in many different ways, such as over social media(cyberbullying), verbally, and physically. All bullies are trying to get a reaction from their victim. However, if people stand up to the bully most of the time it will stop, if that doesn't work a punch to the nose will solve everything else.

The most common types of bullying are verbal and social. Physical bullying happens less often. Cyberbullying happens the least frequently.

Lastly is cyber bullying, and that is a type of bullying where it occurs through technology, and it can happen to anyone at any time. Even though there are different types of bullying, it does not matter which one is done by to someone, it just takes one bully to hurt another’s feelings, or put their self-esteem down.
