Dear Warrior, Let me just start off by saying thank you for all you have done for our country. Not only did you sacrifice your mind and body, you sacrificed your life... and for that I thank you again. I don’t know much about what it’s like out there in the war but I could only image how hard it was. Without you we would not have the rights and Freedom we have today. It reminds me that freedom comes at a price. All would agree that our veterans hold a eternal place in our hearts. Thank you for stepping forward when others step back. Thank you for placing yourself between us and danger. Thank you for serving as a heroic example of who we are and what we can dream to be. Thank you for being my heros. With Respect,
with great pride and dignity. The unit and I are more than grateful to have served
and most for the first time to their memorial. What strikes me each time is their matter-of-fact view of what they did. These heroes were barely old enough to drive when they went off to war, yet their unbelievable acts of heroism and valor saved the world! Without fail, they respond to my words of thanks with answers like, “I just did my duty. We all did.” “Never lose faith in America.” “It was nothing. Times were tough, and everyone did their part.” Their words of advice are always priceless: “Don’t forget to be strong and good.” “Do your duty and always honor that flag.” Saying “Thank you” is the best thing to do, and yet it seems so insufficient.
Veterans are brave to have even thought of going out to war. Bravery is one if the main things to have in order to do something so terrifying. I am so glad that there are people willing to miss out on quite a bit to fight for the country.
Thank you for serving. I can not tell how glad I am that you served in either the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, or the Coast Guard. From any of the wars, WWI,WWII,The Korean War, Persian Gulf War, The War On Terrorism (Afghanistan), the Iraq War, and the Texas Revolution. Thank you for serving. I cannot say how thankful I am that you made the ultimate sacrifice. I have no idea what you have been through in war. I am so grateful that you fought so we could celebrate veterans day, memorial day and all other holidays that only the U.S celebrates.
Despite the fact that only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, our heroes,. I just want to say thank you for the sacrifices you and your families are making. For putting your lives on the line to protect the freedoms that we enjoy and for dedicating your lives to our country. Every veteran deserves to be recognized for their
Veterans fight for us so we can have freedoms. Freedoms give us, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom to vote. We should all be thankful because we have privileges, that not all people got in the past. Veterans want everyone of us to live without fear. They also, want us
Everything our country has to be thankful for is because of you. You fight for our rights, for our freedom. You are the foundation of our country. People may forget how privileged they are. They forget you risk your life. There is not many places in the world where men and women who they have never met will fight, with their lives, to grant the rights for the people. They forget what America stands for. They forget why American is so great. They forget that not many other people in the world have that privilege to birth given rights . You protect and defend Americans' freedom and way of life. You have fought for our country, veterans and flag. You risk your time. The time you get to spend with your family, so we are able to spend it with
In order to maintain what our veterans have done I will encourage people to use these rights to maintain our democracy. I will continue to be grateful for these freedoms by using them. I will use these freedoms for good by using my rights for what is good for this country. I will continue to speak my mind. I will continue to be actively involved in government. I will register to vote when I am old enough and I will allow this democracy to flourish. I am forever thankful for the veterans who protected this democracy and my rights to exist in it
A thank you is owed to the Sons of Liberty for the sacrifices they gave for the sake of the American citizens and their daily freedoms. They gave up their liberty to walk down the street without having to constantly look over their shoulder to make sure there were no British soldiers in sight. Rather than just staying in the shadows, they all showed their faces. To prove that they would not buckle under pressure, they wrote a list of every member’s name. Like most everyday hero, these members never backed away from a battle.
From the words of Jeff Miller “The willingness of America's Veterans to Sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.” The Sacrifices that you made for our country is not nameless. You Sacrificed your lives for our freedom on this earth. Our freedom occurred from your Sacrifice. All the men dead fought for this nation. Fought for freedom and the foundation of our country, and most couldn't enjoy it. The freedom of speech, religion, and our rights. Evan for the one who don't believe, god was watching and still is watching you as you rest, and watched you as you fought, still watches all fighting in war today and will forever.
I was far too young to remember but we have pictures to show me with him by his truck or visiting him. My dad tries to give me and my sister every moment of him that he can. I cherish every moment because who could have known something could have happened to him and i may have never seen him again. He’s the best dad i could ever ask for and i wouldn’t trade him for anything. You should feel the same if you have someone in your family that served. From the time you wake up to the time you lay down at night to go to sleep you should pray to protect the ones out on the line protecting us and thank for the nes that came home safe and the ones that have been home for a long time that fought in wars so long ago we probably weren’t even alive fights that may have happened that we were too young to know. I know that I’m thankful for every single soldier man and women out still fighting or home today with family. They risk everything and go into it knowing the dangers and knowing they might not come
It is important to remember how much of daily life is affected by the work of veterans. Walking on streets, going to school, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with friends all depend on the service of veterans. They may not receive the proper amount of recognition from the younger generations, but their work is appreciated. In actuality, they gained vital information that can be shared with the future generations. They have gained respect and honor for their duty for our
American Veterans risk their lives for us, everyday hoping they won’t be killed or injured while protecting us from our various enemies, so that we can live our lives with safety and security. I am very thankful for
Dreams, Hopes and Plans “Reality is wrong. Dreams are real…” (Tupac Shakur). This takes place in the movie Peaceful Warrior. Dan Millman dream is to qualify for the Olympics.
Happy Hero’s Day to all soldiers. You always put your life in danger protecting our nation. Some of your friends and comrades have lost their lives on the line of duty. You’re brave. You continue to engage fiercely to protect us.
