There are many things that make up those who have fought for the America I believe in, courage, bravery, sacrifice, and honor for our country. Many people have fought for us, for the lives of others. It takes a lot to leave families for the war. The thought of not returning must be haunting to most, if not all veterans. Veterans are brave to have even thought of going out to war. Bravery is one if the main things to have in order to do something so terrifying. I am so glad that there are people willing to miss out on quite a bit to fight for the country. Courage is another thing that got veterans out the door. Maybe it was those little gaps of courage that lasted a while or at least a lot longer than anyone could have imagined. It may
These past and present veterans are vital to the survival of the U.S. They make it possible for us to have a life worry free, to the thought of danger. Without past generations of veterans we would be living in a country full of awful things. Veterans help to protect the children and people, by keeping
We honor our veterans because every day they put their lives on the line to protect our country; to preserve the freedom of this great land. Without question, without hesitation, these brave people come forth every day to help defend the 350 million people
Those who are veterans are those who fought in the wars and those who leaded the troops. Today we honor those who are no longer with us and those who are. We honor them because they fought and saved us from rivalries that were careless about us but our veterans stood up for us until we were safe. If you read history books about the american war you might’ve found that some men were under a lot of stress while training. But the thing that makes them special is they were the brave ones, some men didn’t meet the standards required but some men started training lifting those weights to meet those standards and try again. There are wise and caring people in the world and some times you may have to look for them because they are out
Our nation past was, well, not always perfect. Without some of our veterans, our country wouldn’t be as free as it is. Veterans continue to make our country a free country, which also makes it a better place to live in. Veterans stood up for our country; whether the ones forced to go during the draft, or the ones who voluntarily go. Whether the cause, they were always ready to go and fight for the people’s freedom. We really do see how great these people are, I mean, they risked their life for ours to be
Veterans put their life on the line to help defend our country because it’s something they feel they need to do. They are very inspiring people. Most people don’t have the courage to go to war. The men and women who are so courageous are once in a lifetime people who have amazing stories to tell. Our freedom would not exist if it weren’t for veterans.
Veterans sacrificed their lives for us. A lot of those soldiers never thought they would have to actually go out and hurt someone. Throughout the battle a lot of people were really bad hurt and a lot did not make it. A lot gave there arms, and legs for us. They didn’t run away they stood their ground and gave their lives for us. The ones that got hurt or had scars will be the ones you can tell that never ran. Those are the ones that mabey saw others run, but stayed with tears but keep going. For these reasons, we should always be respectful and be glad they did it for us.
Not many people would withstand having to go off to war knowing their life was on the line. There is much respect and gratitude inclined towards those who did and sacrificed everything they had. Our cordially veterans - the ones who fought and endured the bestial wars, the ones who knew they could fall at any moment, the ones who, despite the horror and fear
Millions of men and women have died and been severely injured fighting for our country to get one step closer to freedom. George Washington once said, “The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.” This quote couldn’t be more accurate. They men and women that have served this country are braver than anyone I know and they do get the respect they deserve.
It is important to remember how much of daily life is affected by the work of veterans. Walking on streets, going to school, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with friends all depend on the service of veterans. They may not receive the proper amount of recognition from the younger generations, but their work is appreciated. In actuality, they gained vital information that can be shared with the future generations. They have gained respect and honor for their duty for our
People often say that freedom is not free and that price has been paid by countless brave individuals. These brave individuals are known as veterans. Veterans should be remembered, respected and honored because of their sacrifices, courage, and patriotism.
All military veterans make sacrifices, and fight courageously for our freedom. They protect our beloved county from disastrous peril. Veterans are one of the only reasons that we are safe, allowed to do what we want, and have free agency. They deserve to be honored and respected as amazing people who put aside everything for the country’s needs.
I am so indebted for the way they protect our nation because the veterans don’t expect people to give them gifts or anything. I am so grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish like other people who expect things from others just. I am so grateful for our veterans because even though they return from war, they stay the same heroic person. I am grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish and cold hearted people, but instead care and have dignity within themselves.
We are all very lucky that there are so many brave men and women in this country. Where would we be if all these veterans wouldn’t of served? Would we be living in this country? I think we would be suffering badly if those veterans wouldn’t of served. Think of all the wars America fought. And how they felt to leave their family, relatives and friends. Also how their family felt about not seeing all these people for such a long time.It also would be hard to think you may not return home. And that their family may lose their son or daughter. So think of what these veterans went through for saving America and for letting us do what we want. Lastly how hard these men and women tried so we can be
I appreciate America’s Veterans because they have served for us back then and have protected us. Especially they gave up their lives when they were young, For instance, some of the Veterans were poor and had nothing and they went to the military to be a better person.
Undeniably, these amazing people do a great deal for us and this country. They do more than just fight for us. They take risks that no one else has the strength to take. They stood tall for those of us too afraid and cowardly. Veterans put their lives at risk every time they stepped onto that war zone or enemy territory. They are what has put patriotism into our hearts and they do so much more than anyone could imagine.
