Everyone has distinct viewpoints of happiness. It is subjective. Happiness for a lot people is a form of something a person does that makes them comfortable or something they really appreciate doing. Some people say happiness is hanging out with their loved ones. Others say happiness is when they distance themselves from everyone to do their own thing in their own world. Since people have an alternate viewpoint of happiness, the definition isn't particular and the meanings are diverse.

Have you ever experience happiness more than one? Its overall the goal that you’re going for in life is to be happy. The dictionary's definition of Happiness is feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. My definition is being able to smile and you know it’s not forced or knowing that you can look in the mirror and truly accept yourself for who you are.

They work for hours to get large amounts of money, but they never find the happiness their looking for. What is happiness? People have agonized over this question for centuries. Let me start this essay by answering a somewhat easier question: what isn’t happiness? Happiness is NOT feeling good all the time. Happiness is a combination of human emotions and states of mind. Exploring this state of being has consumed the philosophical minds of the ages and will continue to do so for ages to come.

I define happiness as being the one and only creator of your own experience, choosing to take pleasure in what you have, right now, regardless of the circumstances, while being the best you that you can be. Happiness is feeling safe and supported no matter what your doing, and not being ashamed of who you are. Finally, happiness is, fundamentally, a choice. Your choice.

Happiness is not a strange term to us. We usually use that word to express our feelings in every day. Additionally, more than a word, “happiness” is what we really need and always seek in life. However, finding and understanding deeply its meaning is not easy. The online dictionary, “vocabulary.com” defines, “Happiness is a sense of well-being, joy, or contentment. When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness.” Thus, we always wonder if we are happy or how could we be happier in our life. Everyone has different views about the definition of happiness.Some people think that happiness is to have a lot of money ,and others think supreme power is the greatest happiness. However, these two kinds of points are not what I want , though I like money and power. Former American president Franklin Roosevelt has said "happiness lies not in the mere possession of money ;it lies in the joy of achievement ,in the thrill of creative effort".As he said, having a lot of money just gives us material satisfaction, but the kind of joy and satisfaction that comes from the heart is true happiness.In present-day society we need money to live, if we have no money we wouldn't be able to survive ,so without the protection of basic materials, happiness is a joke.Therefore, from the premise of ensuring a material foundation，I think happiness is that my family will always be with me.As the French woman writer George San said "there is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved".I love my family, and they love me too,I hope I can live with them forever.Honor my parents, do not wait until I lose them only to realize how to cherish them.
