I was wearing a beautiful blue dress with sapphire gems all around the chest area as I entered the ball with Ciel and Sebastian. I took a good look around here, the hallway was lined with gold. There was a servant ready to escort us to the ball room. "Hello, come this way." He said, walking forward. "Wow, this place is so fancy!" I exclaimed, looking around. "It 's fake gold." Ciel bluntly replied, bringing my hopes down. I sighed. Ciel sounded like he wasn 't in a very good mood.
"Ciel, lighten up. We 're at a ball!" I cheered, putting my arm on his shoulder. "We came here for grim reasons, Lily." The boy whispered. I shivered, that 's right. I 'm supposed to get myself kidnapped. "Ah, here we are." The servant informed, stepping to the

Sebastian was thinking too. "Maybe we should try putting you around people who look sort of non-shining. That will make you stand out." The butler advised.
"Good idea, how about you go over there and look like you are having a nice time. Sebastian, you can go with her too." Ciel ordered, before adding "I will sit by here waiting. When the time comes, let me follow you to rescue Lily. Alright?" Sebastian nodded. "Let 's go then." I replied, starting to walk over to the place with Sebastian. I held a fake smile on my face.
"My lady, young master didn 't say that we couldn 't have real fun. Why don 't we dance since we 're here?" Sebastian asked, holding out his hand. "Um.. but.. I kind of don 't remember how to dance." I said, scanning my brain for any trace. "But if you were royal, you 'd had to dance at least once. So, even though you don 't remember, you will once we start dancing." The butler informed, not waiting for me to respond and threw us both in the dance. I sighed. I can 't break out of it now.. oh well.
We danced, it was really.. how do I put it into words? It was really fun. Sebastian was also right, I do remember how to dance. I know many dances..
Once the dance was over, everyone clapped. It sounds as if I stood out. "Wow, you have such a handsome husband!" One woman came over and complimented, but, my face flushed up. We 're not married! "Uh-you got it wr-" I was suddenly cut off by Sebastian.
Everything had began magnificently the day I attended the renaissance fair. It was the first time I’d ever been to any festival of the sort, and the air was full of magic. At exactly 10:30 in the morning, the ceremony began. The King and Queen presented themselves atop the castle’s balcony to address their people. As the beautiful royals welcomed us into their kingdom, my heart beat erratically, and I crossed the threshold with my breath held. There were so many events that I wanted to see, and activities I wanted to try; I couldn’t wait to get inside. I wasn’t just an ordinary guest, however, I had a job to do. Carrying my instrument lightly with one hand, dressed as a princess and feeling important, I walked proudly through the bustling
"I wanted to welcome and thank you all for attending the first annual Cotillion Ball - an event intended to bring to light the importance of courtesy and decorum. For those of you who attended Courtly dance classes, this is your opportunity to show off what you learned, and for those who didn't hopefully, you shall next year!" she stated after welcoming all to the event.
Young ladies and gentlemen began to dance and swirl around the center of the ball room while Karolina and her friend were approached by two distinguished ladies. They made their introductions and inquired about Karolina, for they recognized Anna and her husband. They observed Karolina’s simple hairstyle and lack of jewelry. Anna proudly explained to them she was a friend from the Grand Duchy of Baden and described the wedding of Princess Marie both attended back in Mannheim. The two women were suitably impressed as Anna described the members of royalty they had seen. After they left, Anna squeezed Karolina’s hand and mouthed the words “Thank you” to her as other women slowly came up to both them.
“Don’t worry, we’re both gonna do great!” I explained, even though I was nervous too. That was the day we were finally trying out for competitive dance at our dance studio, Bleker’s. Bleker’s used to do competitive dance years ago, and finally, after I had been dancing there for 9 years, they started to do comp again!
We burst out of the door, unveiling ourselves to the crowd outside. We felt like rock stars. Everyone had to get a few more pictures with other friends as they arrived and then we filed inside. The place was decorated from top to bottom, glittered stars hung from the ceiling, white Christmas lights twinkled all around, and glimmering gowns in every color made the entire venue sparkle. As a class, months earlier, we had chosen the theme, “I’ve had the time of my life”. The girls had pulled it from our favorite movie, “Dirty Dancing”, and I think the boys just went with it. We sat down for dinner where we were served our choice of meat, with rice or potatoes and a medley of veggies. Nobody ate much though, either because of nerves, vanity, or just plain desire to get to showing off our best moves, we wanted to boogie! After about an hour the tables were cleared off of the dance floor and it was time to the highly anticipated partying. The DJ played the hottest jams of 1999 and we danced the night away. Most of the girls were in their bare feet, unable to take the pain of high heels any longer as we busted our best moves.
After I’m dressed the singers start singing and a little after the drum beat follows once the drums start we start dancing to it. We take a break eat but not too much that I have to go to the bathroom during the dance, rest a little then in the evening we do another dance around a big fire that kind of burned my skin. The next morning I woke up at five, rushed to eat my breakfast so I could go dance. Later, towards afternoon the crown dancers came and danced with me. On the third day I got up early again danced, I then had to run in four directions once I start running everyone follows. The first time I ran, I fell; humiliated and wanting to disappear a family member picked me up. She patted me down took my shoulders and looked me in my eyes. They were soft eyes that seemed to have infinite wisdom, in which she shared with me, saying that: Life is full of struggles. Some day, somewhere in the distant future, you will get hurt, you will be in so much pain and you might trip and fall, but the most important
This shows that Mr. Darcy believes he is better than everyone else. He doesn't believe in enjoying the evening, he thinks he shouldn't dance in a trivial manner; he must have the best. As the woman who Mr. Darcy says is the only one he would dance with is dancing already, Mr. Darcy doesn't dance; nobody else is good enough. This shows Mr. Darcy is spoilt and child-like. His feeling of superiority is displayed here; he is obviously used to getting his own way.
The experiences of slaves, convicts and free settlers were different. Slaves in the nineteenth century were people transported from Africa and made to work for free. Convicts had committed crimes and transported for the term of a sentence. Free settlers were migrants who had made a choice to come to work and live in Australia. There were many similarities in getting to their new countries by boat and their living conditions there.
"Here is out best maneuver, as I see it: / bathe, you three, and put fresh clothing on, / order the women to adorn themselves,/ and let our admirable harper choose a tune / for dancing, some lighthearted air, and strum it. / Anyone going by, or any neighbor, / will think it is a wedding feast he
One day, our new step-sister, Cinderella, arrived. I was a little cautious and unsure of her at first. I let her mind her own business, except occasionally, I did spy on her, just the see what she was up to. I started taking a liking to her when I noticed how kind and gentle she was with the animals that always hang around the kitchen because of the food. I couldn’t believe she would be with nature rather than playing on her phone.
The one-child policy in China forces families to only have one child by using harsh treatments such as undocumented children, forced abortions, and fines. The policy affects the elderly, economy, education levels, personality of children and the value of girls in China. Deng Xiaoping, a Chinese leader, created the one-child policy in 1979 in order to limit population growth of the Han Chinese. The policy takes away couples’ rights to have more than one child. Why does the government have to issue such harsh punishments to the breakers of the policy?
There was silence until Luna spoke up. "Now that I am here, can I stay here for a while?" She implored, looking down. "You'll have to ask my master that. Currently, he is in the study room." Sebastian responded, holding a fake smile.
And when my music started, I remembered why I’d wanted to do this so badly--nothing, not even a broken foot, could stop me from dancing. My brief time away from dance had made me appreciate the times when I could dance so much more, and I really had fun onstage that day; I didn’t even feel any pain (although I’m not sure whether that was due to adrenaline or the Advil I’d taken). When I finished and the theatre filled with applause, I felt powerful. My teacher later told me that it had been the best time she’d ever seen me
“Teague, honey? Are you sure you don’t want to go? I’m certain all your friends will be there too, and they’d be very disappointed if you didn’t join them.” An anxious mother stood at the base of the stairs, calling up to her sixteen year old son on the upper floor. Her husband brushed past her with a photo frame, moving to hang it up while saying,
