Uniforms are considered uncomfortable which can cause students to be unfocused. When asked what he thought about uniforms and their comfort, Richard Calleros from Child of God Lutheran 7th Grade says, “Correct, they are uncomfortable. Uniforms itch and can hurt, so we may not stay focussed on an assignment with uncomfortable clothing.” Another 7th Grader from the same school, Isaiah Smith, chimed in, “I think uniforms are very uncomfortable, itchy, and scratchy because of the collar. Ever since I could remember, I have always had love for the game of soccer ever since I first laid eyes on the sport.
