What a horrible horrible day it was. It all started the first day of 6th grade here at Memorial Middle School. My mom walked in with me to get my schedule because we didn’t go to open house. I went up to my protime and it was in the art room with Mrs. Teerink. My mom sat down at a table with me and I was really scared and embarrassed. Then, to make it even worse, I started bawling my eyes out. While a lot of people walked in, and by a lot of people it was like 20, but it felt like it was a million.
outs, and a lot more examples. People from the surrounding areas would gain from this
In today’s society, a good quality education is an important and valuable necessity. As a college student at Lone Star College, my college experience has greatly influenced me in an enormous amount of ways. By attending college, I have not only had a chance to receive a quality education and degree, but also an opportunity to socialize and interact with various people from different cultures. In addition, the professors on campus have been extremely helpful towards teaching me to succeed in both inside and outside the class room. Furthermore, my college experience at Lone Star has greatly influenced and encouraged me to be successful and achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.
I came into Norwalk Community College looking for a fresh start. I previously attended a 4 year university that became too much for me; attending school full-time, working 30 hours per week while trying to enjoy the college experience. At the cost of an “experience” I ended up failing most of my classes, putting my health at risk drowned by the tremendous amount of stress and just wanted to completely give up. Looking for a fresh start I decided to leave my University, and attend Norwalk Community College. Though this decision created self-doubt in the beginning, it soon came to my realization that it was the best decision I ever made. Immersed in an environment full of positive people, I was able to put my pieces back together.
Do you think Conroe high school should change there rules. I think conroe should change the hat rule to be able to where it in school.
This social issue has been in the spotlight for quite some time now and is the leading cause for students to miss school, become less social, cause self harm and even in some cases death. Bullying and harassment are commonly seen for the most part amongst teenagers who face issues at school, not only does this happen here in the United States, but in schools universally. ¨17% of American students report being bullied 2 to 3 times a month or more within a school semester¨ (Valerie). Although this is mostly seen among teens it can also happen between children and even adults. Bullying can occur everyday throughout Madera High School and no one would be able to acknowledge or stand up for the victim. Vice Principals at MHS have said that more
Sometimes, school is competitive. It can become so competitive that students will lie or go so far as to cheat. Some will even kill. Honor Students at Driftwood City High School partake in an Honors English Literature class that ends the year with an exam. The three students who score highest on this test receive a Distinguished Writers Foundation scholarship. This is both a great honor as well as a way to get into the nation's most prestigious colleges and universities. As this is such a serious event, cheating consequences are severe. The first offence results in a failing grade regarding that assignment. Also, the student in question receives a one day suspension from school. If the student decides to cheat a second time, the consequence
Public school students are being put under outrageous amounts of pressure to do well on their tests and quizzes. As an A-average high school student at Pottsgrove High School, I know what it is like to waste 3-4 hours memorizing meaningless material so I can regurgitate and write on a quiz or test. Pennsylvania puts so much emphasize on learning but instead of teaching us meaningful lessons, we are taught the strategies of taking quizzes and tests. This is not promoting students to their full potential, but simply rewiring our adolescents to simply memorize and throw away.
I want to attend Archbishop Mitty High School because I believe that I can have an excellent education while having fun at the same time. When I went to the Open House at Archbishop Mitty High School, I immediately knew that this was the school for me. At Archbishop Mitty High School, I saw that they have Debate, Student Council, and Volleyball. I am especially passionate about Debate. I also love volleyball because I know can stay active while having fun at the same time. Since Mitty is a catholic school, I can have a spiritual growth along with a good academic education. When I was shadowing at Mitty, the people were very polite and welcoming which I really liked. My ambassador was very nice and friendly with me. The day I was shadowing

If someone could change one thing about Philo High School (PHS) hopefully it would be school start times. A good reason for this is, the bus scheduale causes problems. Buses are constantly late picking up and droping off students. Additionaly bus drivers have to get up increadbly early to pick students up. Tired drivers driving a bus full of children seems dangerous. Another important thing is, students do not have enough time to eat breakfast at school. By time buses get to PHS breakfest is already almost over. What if a student did not have enough time to eat breakfest before leaving for school? They would go hungery all day, meaning they will be harder to teach. Most important thing of all, early class times cause lack of sleep in
Wonder what it is like at Stafford Middle School? We have great physical and human geographic features. To begin with, we have clean floors that are mopped by the janitors and tables that are wiped down, also by the janitors everyday. We also have a clean football field that is made of turf, which makes it look nicer and cleaner. We have a safe school that is made of bricks, which protects us from storms and tornadoes.
Firstly, in some schools students have a struggle with going to sleep and staying asleep, this is called insomnia. In the article it says “. Some of students so get more hours of sleep to stay awake for classes that they need to pass to make their patents happy. They need more sleep for their sports if they do any sports. I think Beaumont High School should have a different time schedule because of how much of sleepiness they have in their classes.
In this argumentative essay, it is going to discuss reasons why headphones should be allowed at Treasure Coast High School. I understand there are safety concerns, such as, not hearing people during an emergency. However, I feel like it should be changed as it is a stress reliever, can help cognitive thinking, and can help both the people who need quiet and those who cannot work in the quiet.
