Climate change is known as one of the greatest threats to the planet. It is not only a threat to the planet environmentally, but it is a threat socially and economically. As we all could feel, see, and know, the weather patterns globally and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere have been increasing over an extended period of time. Although it may seem like it’s not a dramatic change since it is data from over a large amount of time, it is considering the fact that the large amount of time is not that large as it should be. Climate change is nothing new to us. It’s happened many years ago in the past because a variety of reasons but as the years go on, the rate on charts are just getting higher. As much as I would like to blame this predicament on nature, humans has a fault as well. We release thousands of greenhouse gases into the air through many procedures, but there are things that we cannot entirely control. However, whoever’s fault it is to blame I believe that if we work together and think we will more likely be able to find effective solutions for this problem.

What is climate change exactly? Climate change happens when long-term weather problems occur. For example: global warming can be a part of climate change because the weather changes and the heat increase very slowly. Climate change is becoming a huge problem and is affecting the world's ecosystems and communities. The world could become one huge oven or it won't. Nobody knows.

The human race all around the world wonders if the climate is changing due to human activity or if it is just a natural occurrence. At certain parts of the Earth's surface, the climate can be observed much differently than other locations. As the years go by the average temperature of the Earth increases by little intervals. However, the increase of worldwide population and production of heat to the atmosphere is due to the increase of human activities that take place on a daily basis. Although each of these impact areas are significant and worthy of further discussion, it is the ramifications of sea level rise that brought me to discuss climate action today.

There’s evidence showing that climate change is happening and affecting our world now and from what it seems, if action isn’t taken, major consequences will soon arise. Most of the world’s land mass has experienced a 0.2-1.0 degree Celsius average temperature increase since the 1970s, the temperatures of the Artic has increased at almost twice the mean global rate. Climate change is caused by human factors such as greenhouse gases and ozone depletion and because humans are so dependent on fossil fuels in their day to day lives, the issue at hand is only going to get worse.

Climate change is one of the most crucial issues in the twentieth century. There is much evidence to show fluctuations in weather occurring on the earth. Scientists found that the period of global warming is occurring more frequently than the previous time and rapidly increasing temperature globally. The statistic records on the nineteenth century, calculated that the surface of earth throughout the 100 years ago that had average increase of approximately 0.8C. However, during the period thirteen years ago, the average temperature increase around 0.6C and continually warming with an upward trend in the shortest period. These events cause drastic changes which affect human life such as extreme weather (hotter and colder), food and fresh water shortages and higher levels of the ocean. It is important for people to being concern what happens now. This essay will focus on the main cause of anthropogenic changing climate, in order to evaluate and link the outcome of activity.

If this were to happen, and we continue using fossil fuels instead of more environment safe energy sources such as hydroelectric power or wind power, parts of Miami and New Orleans would become nearly inhospitable. Climate change can be very harmful. While humans are burning things, it is also warming up the earth. This causes hurricanes and other harmful storm to form.
