The Miami Dolphins, a professional football team located in Miami, Florida, has been a part of the National Football League (NFL) since 1966. The organization is most notably known for the 1972 Miami Dolphins football team, led by Don Shula, who went undefeated a won the Super Bowl. This team was the first and, so far, only team to have a perfect season capped off with winning the championship game. From 1966 to 1970 the Miami Dolphins were perceived like they are today as a losing franchise that could not win. That was until Don Shula, helped make the Dolphins one of the best franchises in the national football league during his reign as head coach. The time period from 1970 to 1993 were the golden years of the organization 's history; during this time the Miami Dolphins won 13 AFC East Titles, 5 AFC Championships, 2 Super Bowls and in 1973 set the league record 74,961 season ticket sales. During this time period the team had star players Larry Csonka, Dan Marino, Bob Griese, and several others that helped to build and sustain the Dolphins legacy. Since 1993 the Miami Dolphins have been known for holding three fantastic super bowls in 1994, 2006, and 2009, all of which were great games that the Dolphins were not involved in. While in recent years the Miami Dolphins have gone back to the original roots of field losing teams, the organization has developed a marketing strategy to improve the financial situation of the organization and maintain fan support. “Including playoff games, no team over a long term has averaged as many wins as New England, 13.8, in a season. The Patriots’ 13.8 wins is a full win better, on average, In 16 seasons beginning in 2001, New England has won five Super Bowls and 14 division titles. ” It is one accomplishment to win in the regular season and be dominant when the games don't mean as much, however when the lights are bright and all eyes, cameras, and spectators are watching you on the biggest stage in the National Football League and you deliver with wins consistently is a testament to the strength and unbelievable coaching by Bill

Now the Patriots had the opportunity to right the wrongs of the past and win the Super Bowl. Once again my living room was filled with friends and family desperate for a Patriots Super Bowl. Tom Brady had led the Patriots down the field for a touchdown that had put the Patriots ahead. The game was now to be decided by the Seahawks offense against the Patriots defense. Wilson took the snap and threw the ball to his running back Marshawn Lynch. Lynch scampered all the way to midfield. Time was beginning to run out. I felt the confidence in the room was destroyed. I looked at the faces of my friends and family, and they all looked the same. They all shared the same look of despair that we had all felt so many times before. Just a couple plays later Wilson threw a pass deep down the field and somehow, in the same fashion Tyree had seven years prior, made an unbelievable catch. There it was again. The Tyree catch had been replicated once again. Once again our hearts had been ripped out. The Patriots now stood on the edge of another crushing loss. The Seahawks stood on the Patriots goal line. Just inches from total victory. The Patriots were again on the edge of the abyss. As the clock wound down I could feel the energy in the room shoot up. The final play that would determine if the football gods would kill us again, or if we would finally taste the victory we all longed for. Wilson took the snap and everyone was on
This game out of the three is a little different because they did not come from behind, but they won
The one low spot for the Patriots is the loss of Dion Lewis, who is out of the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. Despite this awful news, I still believe the Patriots will finish 16-0.
Several years later, he was drafted to play for the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL draft. He served as a backup quarterback and played in only one game during his first season. The 2001 season was a very different .After starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe was injured Brady took over proving himself a strong QB with a powerful arm.If anybody doubted Brady they quickly look at his team win and loss. With an impressive 3 loss 14 games win.In the post-season, he helped the team secure a win over the St. Louis Rams at Superbowl XXXVI, and Brady received the game's MVP award. Two years later, Brady led his team to another win at Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Carolina Panthers. For his effort, he won his second Super Bowl MVP Award. And in the 2004 season, Brady once again led the team to Super Bowl victory, taking down the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21. In 2005, Brady signed a new six-year contract with the Patriots, and
The Colts were not the first team to fall victim to the Patriots cheating habits. Heath Miller, a Pittsburgh Steelers player, claims, "They were calling our stuff out. They knew, especially that first championship game here at Heinz Field. They knew a lot of our calls.
The team lost its game the next week to the Pittsburgh Steelers and has had only one playoff appearance since then, a 36-33 loss to the Steelers in 2002. That was after the team left town, becoming the Baltimore Ravens and then reappeared as an expansion team in 1999. The Browns have had only two winning seasons since then and seven head coaches. Many NFL experts blame a lack of stability in the franchise for its poor showing. An article in sportingnews.com noted poor first round draft picks the team has had, mentioning linebacker Craig Powell, linebacker Mike Junkin, running back William Green, running back Trent Richardson, and others.
