Cats vs Dogs, one of the longest debates of all time, which is very difficult for people wanting pets to pick one. I strongly agree that dogs are definitely better than cats as pets since, there are 340 breeds of dogs compared to 40 breeds of cats. Also, there are more versatile options to choose from dogs than cats as pets. I have three major reasons to support dogs are better than cats as pets which are intelligent, affectionate, and loyal.
The first major reason to support that dogs are better than cats are their superior intelligence compared to cats. Dogs have many jobs such a firefighter, taking down criminals, airport security if the travelers are carrying narcotics of their suitcase, military dogs and service dogs. They do have a high variety of jobs for helping

Dogs love their humans more than cats do because dogs are always following their owners around to keep them safe or companionship. In an article it stated that “brief interactions with dogs reduce anxiety and improve mood, improve our health - they improve our heart health, keep us exercising more regularly, reduce stress, and even can help detect diseases like cancer”. As the saying goes, “ dogs are our best friends” because they can understand us and we can communicate with them.
The third and final reason to support that dogs are better than cats as pets is their senses smell, hearing, and taste. The dog’s sniffing is significantly better than cats, it is estimated between 1,000 to 10,000 times better than humans. Their hearing is the second best sense, dogs are able to hear sounds that are too quiet for people to hear. There is a special whistle that only dogs can hear its frequency. Taste is the third best sense for dogs, although they do have fewer taste buds than humans and also they eat the smelliest thing instead of the sweetest, they can gobble down food before they even have time to chew it, or taste
Whether it is an inside cuddle buddy, or an outside mice killer, cats make wonderful pets. While dogs stay dirty, drool, and bark, cats clean themselves, are clean animals, and meow quietly. Cats are warm and fuzzy and love to cuddle while they take naps. Dogs are too rambunctious and energetic. Cats make better pets than dogs.
A person is thinking of getting a pet to be his companion and to entertain his kids, but he has encountered a predicament: they choose a mediocre feline or a magnificent canine. While there are many advantages of each option, the dog is a better option for companionship, protection, and loyalty.
The cats versus dogs debate is probably as old as the existence of early canines and ancient felines. Dog owners have long argued that dogs are better pets, but me, as a cat owner, beg to differ, and here’s why.
Dogs’ eagerness to please their masters is also a commendable trait which cats simply don’t have. Without this, it would be very difficult to train dogs for the many jobs they now hold, from aiding law enforcement personnel and herding sheep, to seeing-eye dogs and even helping exterminators locate hard-to-find infestations. Cats
While dogs and cats are a lot alike, you have to consider their differences before you choose your pet. As mentioned before cats do not require cleaning nor exercising or training, while dogs are in need of all these things. If you want to raise a pet then, try to manage your time before you choose your best
One of the most debated arguments to this day would have to be that cats are better than dogs. Did you know that more people own cats than dogs? In the US, 95.6 Million people own cats compared to the 83.3 million who own dogs. This speech will state why cats are smarter, cleaner, easier to look after and are also beneficial for your health, such as lowering your blood pressure and lowering your cholesterol.
and self sufficient? It is undeniable that cats are way better than dogs. Cats can lick themselves clean, and they make little to no messes whereas dogs slobber everywhere and need to be given a bath. Dogs also take forever to train and have a shorter life expectancy than cats while cats take less time to train and will be around longer. Wouldn’t you rather spend less time training your animal and have more time with them? Not to mention, dogs can be a pain to take on walks, but cats use the litter box without any assistance. Dogs are also a lot louder than cats and definitely more frightening. More people are scared of stray dogs than of stray cats. Do you really want a dog that will be loud and obnoxious and scare off your guests? With all these reasons it’s hard to deny that cats are tremendously better than dogs.
People can either be a cat person or a dog person. Cats and dogs are unique creatures yet they are the two most common household animals. I am definitely a dog person. I love dogs. I think everyone should have a dog. They’re great pets. Dogs are fun and a lot of work but it sure is worth it. Cats, on the other hand, I don’t care for. I had a cat when I was only about one year old and she got run over by a car. Ever since then my family has had a dog. Maybe if I had a cat when I was growing up I would like them more.
Are you a cat person or a dog person? In the age-old schism of cats versus dogs, there has always been a debate for both sides. No matter what side is taken there will always be a debate about which animal is superior.
Another reason why people should love dogs more than cats is because cats are very sassy, and grouchy, meanwhile dogs are loveable, playful, plus they bark. When you pet a cat a way that the cat hates, it
I have heard the old saying that dogs are man’s best friend. I don’t know much about dogs, but I do know a lot about cats. I have had a cat as a pet for at least 30 years. They are wonderful and I know I will always have one in my life. I think cats make the perfect pet because they are self sufficient, intelligent, and good companions.
By the standard of EQ, dogs come out slightly ahead of the intelligence game over cats. According to Wikipedia, there is only a 0.2 percent advantage to the dog. Such a minute difference may be the reason dog and cat parents argue about their favorite pets.
Are cats better than dogs or dogs better than cats?Cats and dogs are two different animals by their traits or how they act but both are a house pet either way. Both of the animals are very different like there claws, grooming, what size they are or about there life span, but they have some things in common. Cats are very different from dogs and dogs are very different from cats by grooming, how they act, their size, or even their life span. For example, cats meow or purr and dogs bark or growl, cats have sharp claws and dogs have extended claws, dogs love company but cats like being alone, cats are more calm than dogs, or dogs love big space and cats love small areas to be in (differencebetween.net). In addition, cats hate getting groomed but dogs love it, cats are more hard to train than dogs, dogs are 2.5-45 inches in size and cats are 9.1-9.8 inches in size, a cat's lifespan is 10-14 years and a dog's lifespan is 10-12 years (lovefurdogs and pets.thenest).
There is always the chance that someone could prefer both cats and dogs. This fact is supported by people who have both, but are more likely to think in the same fashion of a dog person. In this case you are also likely to talk to your animals, possibly have a four year degree and even dislike animal-print clothing. I know those sound a little nuts but I have to admit when you need someone to talk to cats are great. I am working on that four year
The second difference is that dogs are generally smarter than cats. Their owners can train the dogs to do tricks when commands in a short time, conversely people have to whether spend a lot of time to train cats or cannot. Some of the most common tricks of dogs are to roll over, to shake hands, to sit down, to lie down, and to stand by two legs, and so on. Besides do tricks, dogs are train fight skill when their owner are attacked suddenly. In contrast, we have never seen a cat do any of these things. The only thing a cat is good at is to catch mice.
