America’s current national debt is 18.8 trillion dollars this number grows by 2.3 billion per day (citation). That means that every single man, woman and child owes the U.S. government fifty eight thousand dollars. In the U.S. a president is chosen to represent the people. That person should reflect the current problems that the U.S. is facing. For example should America be in a financial crisis someone experienced in the financial field should be chosen. Donald Trump would be the best presidential candidate for the U.S. due to the financial issues it faces. In comparison Hillary Clinton an experienced politician would have less knowledge and overall know how on America’s financial status and how it could be fixed. Following in his father’s footsteps he went into the real estate business, instead of Queens and Brooklyn however he chose Manhattan. At the time New York was in a tight financial spot and Trumps lawyer tells him that his idea will not work. Trump doesn’t listen and continues with his real estate plans to turn the commodore hotel which located next to the grand central station, into a first class hotel and change the neighborhood from run down to an upscale environment. His plans pay off and his hotel revitalizes the neighborhood. The transformation of the commodore hotel marks a landmark in Trumps business career as his first independent business venture giving him a positive reputation that will serve him well later on in life. Trump’s next big project was Trump Tower, a 200 million dollar luxury high rise located on the side of the Bonwit teller building. Trump tower would provide tenants with upscale stores, high end office space and luxurious condominiums with breath taking views of the city (citation). The only problem was that Trump did not have the air rights to construct the building to the desired height. Trump decides to buy the excess air rights that tiffany and co. owned for 5 million dollars, this allows him to build Trump Tower unhindered. Trump Tower becomes a huge success and still is
Does President Donald J. Trump deserve to be impeached after his first year in office? To answer the previous question first contemplate over what is a president and what makes a good one? According to Merriam-Webster, a president is “the chief officer of an organization usually entrusted with the direction and administration of its policies. (pg.1)” An adequate president is a person that can build a team, create culture, discipline, discipline others, and that knows how to organize. The current president was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. Previously, Trump was a real estate mogul, entrepreneur, and billionaire and does not have any experience in the political field. Being or becoming a businessman would take a various amount of leadership and social skills, but how does Donald Trump remain the president today with all the ruthless offenses and lack of experience? This candidate would not be qualified as a good president due to his reckless determinations, upsurges and he simply does not meet the requirements.
There are any reasons why hillary clinton should have won. Im am going to state only a few reasons why donald trump should have lost. Hillary even won the popular vote and still lost the election to a rapist a sexist and a racist. And the many other horrible things that donald trump is. Donald trump violates a lot of the constitution not letting people have the same rights. Deporting people who are citizens just because they look wrong to him. He's a jerk and bully he doesn't care what other people want just what he wants. When he says he will “make america great again” no it should be he will “make america bad again”. All he ever does is criticize people around him. He doesn't care what they think all he cares about is himself. He goin got cause a war with someone (most likely iraq).
Thesis: Donald Trump has been able to run such a successful presidential campaign as a result of the evolution of the GOP and his clever tactics throughout the race, however if he does get the nomination, then the results would be devastating for the republican party because they would be almost guaranteed to lose the general election and it could even result in the downfall of their party, but in the end, the most interesting thing about Donald Trump’s campaign is how it has shown us just how divided this country is.
in my city Baton Rouge, Louisiana for July 12 has taken a hit. Because, of
We as citizens of the United States of America are lucky enough to live in a nation where we are free to make our own decisions and pursue our dreams really without any government interference. However, while this is a blessing, at times it can be quite a curse. A perfect example of this would be the ability for anyone to attempt to become President even if they aren’t in the least bit qualified. If you haven’t figured out who I’m referring to I’m talking about one Donald J. Trump. Trump is a business man who has made billions of dollars through real estate and other means. While successful this man has no business running a country, especially one as powerful as ours. However, for the past few months Mr. Trump has lead in the republican polls.
Trump victory ‘incredible’ reads the front page of The Journal Gazette, and yes, effectively that’s the way it was. Sad was the final result of the presidential elections 2016. Ever since he announced his candidacy to become president of the Divided States of America, Donald Trump was heavily criticized and was never given credit or remote chances of winning. We were too busy criticizing his incoherencies and dumb ideas he had to become the next president of the Divided States of America. The truth of it is that we did not pay attention that, while he was working trying to enamor the voters of the people that had never participated in a presidential election, we were too busy criticizing, judging and laughing at the images that constantly showed the racial tensions and hatred prevalent in most of his political campaign rallies toward the
In the past few months that Donald Trump has been the President of the United States, there’s no denying that there have been questionable actions he has produced. The first things to catch the eye was the firings of his administration of Sally Yates and now James Comey, solely on the purpose that those two did not do something that he agreed with or expose him. Trump has not been a man of his own words exactly. He will say one thing, and the next day he has no recollection of stating it.
After following this year's election, I have acquired a vast amount of knowledge on Donald Trump and his political beliefs. He is an intelligent man. There is no doubt about that. He has many successful businesses, and he managed to somehow convince the majority of the United States to vote him as our next president. However, Donald Trump is a well known sexist and is quite bigoted in his beliefs. The only social class that he cares about is the wealthy upper class, seeing as he is a part of said class. Every choice he makes during his presidency effects this generation and the generations to come. As a fifteen year old who will be affected by all the choices he makes during his presidency, I have many concerns for America when Trump takes office.
Sarah has finally stepped out of her foxhole; she made it public appearance in the Iowa State University rally, to endorse Donald Trump in the final rallies before the Iowa caucuses. It was no surprise that she endorsed Mr. Trump. Is she aware of his sexist tendencies? Most likely she’s not, because we all know females are just too hormonal to pay attention. She obviously missed Mr. Trump’s tantrum to not participate in the Republican debate, until Fox removes Megyn Kelly from moderating the G.O.P Debate. He believes that Megyn Kelly the debate moderator “is not very good at what she does”, and probably is bleeding from her eyes and ears.” Fortunately Fox decision not to give in to Mr. Trump childish behaviors.
November 8th 2016 is when our next presidential election will take place. Many of us are wondering who we should vote for, the Democratic Party leader Hillary Clinton or the Republican Party leader Donald Trump. Hillary’s email scandal makes her untrustworthy and Donald Trump’s ignorant nature make it extremely difficult to choose a candidate, to choose between a lesser of two evils. We could vote third party, try to make sure no party gets a majority and hope the electoral colleges votes for that third party, but no third-party candidate has won the presidential election ever, all the way back to the first president George Washington in 1789. It would take many people to make it happen now.
With less than a month left in the presidential race, Eric Trump went one-on-one with ABC’s “This Week” host, George Stephanopoulos, to defend the questionable campaign of his father.
The issue that has developed more openly in the media is whether or not President Elect Trump should or shouldn’t sever his business ties. Those that are for him severing his ties say that these businesses could prove as a distraction to his presidency. If nothing else they could influence his actions as president to improve his own wellbeing while keeping the interest of the nation out of the picture. The other side of the argument believe that it doesn’t matter if he keeps them or not as no other president was being pushed so hard to remove their assets out of their own control. Even though he has chosen to do so it still will take time for this transition to take place and really doesn’t matter as he could be halfway through his presidency
In the 2016 presidential debate there are two candidates going head to head to see who is going to win president. The presidential election happens every four years, so that means if Hillary or Trump wins they will be our president for 4 years. If I were be able to vote I would vote for Donald Trump because he will protect us from immigration, he will get rid of abortion, and he will allow people to have a license to have a gun. If you were to vote for Hillary Clinton you are picking the wrong person for president because she will allow all of the illegal immigrants to be free and illegal in U.S., she will agree on abortions, and then she will not let you have a license too have a gun.

Donald Trump, is the Republican leading candidate for President of the United States. On the Democratic side, Clinton appears to be the winner. Those in the know, understand Trumps dynamics and the reason that Democrats are starting to fear the Republican candidate. Let's take a closer look.
I believe that Donald Trump wouldn’t make a very good president because he wants to build a wall separating Mexico from the U.S., he also wants to increase the size of the U.S military, and trump's tax plan .
